First class Ice diorama, great job and big like!
Beautiful diorama 😊😊😊
Good job 🙂
Looks great. Bravo mate. What did you use for snow effect?
Beautiful diorama but a missed opportunity not using HMS Endurance
Why would the gunports be open?
They wouldn't but it seems the modeller is focusing on ambience rather than historical accuracy.
@@Zanderguard It's not an important thing, really, but there is a perception that ships always had guns poking out of the gunnels when that only happened during battles (or gunnery practice). Oh, and I believe sometimes in the tropics when gundecks were stiflingly hot and smelled appalling. Not an issue in ice floes.
@@BenjWarrant I am aware and I agree with you. In rough seas the gun ports on the lower gun deck would remain closed, even in battle. You are correct about opening them for ventilation. My point though, is most people don't care about being historically correct and just go for "cool art" which was achieved here. My comment was that not using HMS Endurance was a missed opportunity.
@@Zanderguard Oh, yes, that's the most famous ice-locked three-master, for sure.
