Thank you for taking the time to post this Ben. I too found this company when I first started looking into solar storage all in one solutions several years ago. I found the specs lacking in almost all categories and immediately dismissed them. Another turn off is when a company offers to finance a purchase like this. Life changing advice here folks... DON’T FINANCE! Save your money until you can afford something. Doing your research while you save your money is a great way to maximize your investment dollar and avoid impulse purchases. End rant.

1/3 off the world population starving may reach 2/3. Dump ocean water into dry rivers with ocean fish, have an ocean river, desal at farms, steam distiller St the kitchen sink, disinfected and salt free
Collect America's lawn mower clippings for more cattle, new jobs. Instead we export corn and beef and have a storage and import meat from other countries
Don't eat people, if it's time for cabalism as some are saying it's time for mass suicides, and don't eat them, no, you may not be a zombie. Stop eating people, plant cows eat chicken
They tried to make viruses to eliminate half the world, they are unsuccessful, 65 percent of the world would say thanks for a synthetic opioid euthanasia drink by the 10,000 gallon vat, I could have done agenda 21 better 8 years ago
Soon your cities will be without water, unless you hire people for US currency which costs the same to print as unemployment without a future and pump desalinated water from the ocean into river systems
we're not being drawn to the sun,
There's two black holes on the surface, whatever was gravitationally drawn to the core went there, and the overall gravity of the sun increased but it got hotter but we're moving away and angry solar flares and CMEs are coming after us for leaving.
Heat pushes clouds causing flooding on other parts of this planet while coronal mass ejection and solar flares from magnetic connections from the sun to the earth are increasing. One day maybe it will arc weld this iron ball if we don't cross elliptical orbit line with the moon. Tell NASA about the moon and a year and a half later they make Moonfall. They should make a euthanasia for everyone who wants to go, or be stuck to endure the future even if you don't want to be here at all???
With the moon it'd be a tsunami one way and a volcano the other, the future of our relationship with the sun is a different issue
      However,
65 percent of the planet would take a synthetic opioid drink by the 10,000 gallon vat and say thanks,
1/3 off the world is starving to death, 5 percent need bones they can't or don't want to get replaced, 5 percent need organs they can't or don't want to get replaced, 5 percent are terminally ill 5 percent chronic pain, 5-10 percent never wanted to be here anyway, and everyone else will have a peaceful way to go when they want. There's no good way to go, some are 18 and 0 and going through death and not actually dying is not fun, some attempts are violent to go through. Instead of making a euthanasia available to everyone who wants to go they kill .08 percent of the world population in two years. Everyone was the target. I would have helped the 65 percent go 8 yrs ago.
They're needs to be a peaceful easy way for everyone when they want to go. Guy saves 1M in state aid, paid 600k in social security, doesn't have to die every day, just gets to leave before suffering. The guy with the kids gets 800 k from Uncle Sam in life insurance he never signed up for and Uncle Sam keeps the other 800k. Free euthanasia. Cut inflation by more than half, more than doubled available resources. Have a job by a company which pays all the taxes and picks up grass clippings M-S to take it to fields now with cows on it, 4x your US cattle with lawn mower clippings from every years, save 2500 on property taxes and make sure your clippings are out in your neighborhood on Tuesdays
Pump desalinated water from ocean wave current into river systems ASAP. It costs the same to print unemployment and section 8 as it fits a job with a paycheck that won't even take your house away
Here's your check if you love your neighbors and don't want to leave your free housing, and here's your bigger check if you want to rent on the private market
More confusing paint all the taxes making useful cool jobs, your paper actually goes somewhere and a quarter turns back into a dollar
Dig out 10 ' of river bed and cast and set two 10' pipelines to being Atlantic ocean water to every house, use steam distiller for salt free disinfected water at the kitchen sink, dump waste water into sealed pipelines. It took a turn 2 years to dig out 10' of riverbed, everyone could be back to work working in every town and we'd be at with new infrastructure. Don't put salt in your water, have more salt for more roads in the winter.
Send salt water straight to homes, they'll use a distiller for their few gallons of driving and cooking water and they're off toilet to tap loop. Use electrolysis for energy from salt water. At the very least, feed rivers with desal water immediately to quickly overcome drought shortages, no problem
Make a grass and corn crop that grows in ocean water hybrid with say, oceanic grass root structures, best genetic corn crop growing in salt water in Texas and Arizona while you solar desalinate more oxygen and hydrogen into the air in a 24/7/365 grow season with ocean water and no weeds growing in salt water crops or lawns, fill your swimming pool with ocean water and water your lawn with salt water, don't put salt in your what salt water put it in the roads, use a small steam distiller made of glass and stainless to get disinfected and salt water free water for cooking and drinking, maybe an ocean let for your pool, were have to deal with ocean water rise, how about a Dolphin?
Make more indoor fish farms, clean fish into a flash freezer, people eat fish, kid makes 90 k a year running fishing equipment not $9 an hour people eat well
People could be cremated visible to the public and the smoke can be required in a gallon of water and the ashes and cement combined and people can be made into a concrete cast or flower pot. Otherwise, if they get cremated, without a filter, or dissolved in alkyld they go down a drain?
And they had that place giving fake ashes and selling bodies
Maybe you could make a wireless Tesla bridge (like when you touch a Tesla ball and the current comes towards you, though you are in the millivolts) to draw CMEs from to sub to say, Mars, maybe you'll stop the earth from frying

I recently bought the 4P 1500. So far, it's been fine...good even. Mine had been bought and rarely, if ever, used. It came with everything, too. Solar panels included. But I paid $650. I can't imagine paying $2400 or $2500 for this.
    Very interesting and informative video.

I just received my Patriot Sidekick yesterday. Watched a CZcams video about it. Comes half charged, I finished charging by wall outlet. Today after watching your video I tried it. Trick: it doesn’t turn on with one push of the button, took couple times. Plugged in 2 large fans, both working just fine. Display panel doesn’t stay lit, but that isn’t an issue for me. I’ll leave it running for a few hours to see what happens. Bought it in case of hurricanes, we always lose our power. Need a way to cool off in Florida summer heat.

Thanks Victoria for your actual user opinion. It is so obvious by this guys review that he has a defective unit, but no he, from the get go, hates the product and beats it to death. He totally ignores all the signs of a defective unit and assumes all units are crap. Honest reviewer? No!
I purchased the 1800 model and an extra set of panels. Played around with it for a couple months, was pleased, fully charged, and packed away. We just moved and while moving I realized it had been way over a year since I charged it. Took it out and found it had only dropped one bar. One bar down, I then plugged up to a 12 volt portable ice chest, and ran chest at 25 degrees for 6 days straight and still had 3 bars. Took about 3 hours to recharge. Real user results, not someone with a defective unit.
Lastly, my brother just returned his second Titan in 3 months. Titans suck, no of course not both were manufacturing defects, it happens

Their "Sidekick" is simply the 200 dollar Golabs r300. This company makes me furious for doing this to people. You can buy the Golabs AND a real 100 watt solar panel for no more than 300 dollars. Plus you can buy a Bluetti EB70 with a 700 watt inverter that has over twice the battery size for 500.

I have the Patriot 1500 and it has never discharged when not in use . I check it every few weeks and it always show a full charge. I think if the battery is not holding a charge when the machine is off, there might be something causing the drain that might be in need of fixing. I checked my battery level today and it shows full charge. Also the battery meter in mine is different than on yours. The gauge runs vertically and is much larger. It also gives me the power level of the battery in numbers.

As a Patriot and Cold War Veteran, I'm embarrassed that they will fear monger you into getting into 2500 plus dollars in debt, and not even have the common courtesy of letting this wannabe be examined by professionals. just some info. Voltage and current are inversely proportional, meaning that when one goes up the other goes down. As that battery discharges the voltage will drop. This will cause the current to go up. If the battery does not have available capacity (current) the voltage will drop even further, aka "dead battery". The increase in amperage causes heat in the battery and in the inverter circuitry. Also the display graphics represent a range for each bar. If the display has four bars then one bar means remaining charge is between 0 and 25%. Four bars represent 75% to 100%. So at four bars the charge is somewhere above 75% and still charging while the graphic is animated.
100 watts at 12.5vdc is 8 amps! While 100 watts at 110 vac is only 0.9 amps. This is why dc systems get hot.

Another observation with the 1500 is that when the solar wattage is low, like 15watts or so, the unit ALWAYS runs the fan, and the fan itself is probably consuming most of that 15. I'm tempted to cut the wire to the fan and add a switch so that I can turn off the fan. Maybe they were thinking it "might get hot" ... so they always run it ... rather than running it only when its hot.

Which means I need waterproof, Weatherproof solar panels. Capable of running refrigerator and small heater during cold season. Windows AC during hot season. Also able to take along to road trips to power up portable freezer. Please help. I don't know any of these stuff. Quite generator would be a plus. Thank you ✌

      @minutemanprep  Před 2 lety +1

I'm happy to help. First off I'll say that running any kind of electric heat is basically not possible long term. Even a small electric heater on low will typically use 700w to run. That is the equivalent of about 7 refrigerators all running at once. For backup heat I recommend either of these: Mr Buddy Heater 9,000 BTU: amzn.to/2pkbTYq
or the Mr Buddy Heater 18,000 BTU: amzn.to/34XMMK4 and get these to go with it: Mr Buddy Heater Large Tank Filter: amzn.to/2pDKFfx
and a Propane Hose to Small Thread: amzn.to/2KiU6b7. You can use this setup to run a propane heater from a 20lb/5gal propane tank which can be swapped out or refilled even during blackouts pretty easily. Plus propane doesn't go bad so you never need to worry about it in storage, it'll just be ready when you need it most.
As far as a solar generator goes for running a fridge then being able to run a window AC during the summer, you'll want a Titan solar generator for sure. Simply because in order to run a window A/C unit and be able to recharge the battery so you can still run the fridge all night you'll need a lot of solar input. I would recommend the Titan 1000 Rigid kit here: poweredportablesolar.com/product/titan-1000-rigid-kit/ If you're able to get an extra battery and more panels then all the better but if not, this kit should do pretty well. The panels are also 100% snow, rain and water proof.

I was curious about how long the supplied solar panels would take to charge the "generator" -- a device that is otherwise not solar nor a generator (it's just a battery and inverter, after all, generating no electricity on it's own) -- but I could not find any reference what-so-ever in the ridiculously repetitive and prolonged sales screed. It's important for prolonged outages for knowing the likely hours it takes to recharge it so you know how much more solar panel or wind generation output to buy. You'd need two units, minimum: one to be charging and one to power your appliances (but don't even THINK about powering HVAC) as suggested is practical. 770Wh isn't all that much storage capacity for the buck, really. For example, a Generac whole house battery is roughly $1400/1000Wh, installed where this thing is roughly two and a half times as expensive. To replace my whole house battery with these would cost $100,000.

The Company advertises more often than not through conservative cable channels from what I understand.
To drive that point further, the owner's manual for this power station is in English only.
The demographic this is mainly marketed to, especially in the early days, are to those who don't want to see other languages or any references to China in the manual.

The cells of the panel easily last 20+ years. You can charge through a window pane, but don't, you'll lose at least 50% of the production. Just put them outside and run the cables through the door jam so the panel can make the most amount of energy possible.
