- Open Cambridge: Healthy Living in Islam
---
As part of the #OpenCambridge festival organised by the University of Cambridge, we are today talking about eating well and looking after our health. What does Islam say about this and what are our responsibilities in this area as spiritual beings? To discuss the Islamic perspective on physical health, Ibrahim Rahman is joined by Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad, chair of trustees of Cambridge Central Mosque.

Masha Allah, Shaykh Abdul Hakim is in great shape for a mature man. I really need to go on a diet.
Consider it more as a lifestyle change instead of diet.
Ma'sha'allah pure joy in listening to SAHM.
Salaam most humbling 🌹🌹🌹🌹 big love from Birmingham!!!!
This vid is a great idea. Tim should be more visible in the UK and online - very beneficial for the community.

Kindly make dua for me and watch on CZcams: What is your concern? (Powerful Reminder)
Masha Allah amazing
Much needed talk on every level, mashallah! JazzakumAllah!
The contribution of Western Islamic Scholars to Islam n the 'Umma' is unimaginably incalculable. Coming out of the yoke of street mulas, it is heart warming to see how educationally Islam is discussed. It is surprising to see how some people in Ramdan fall on food when they break the fast. RAMDAN IS ALSO TO GIVE BREAK TO THE SYSTEM FOR HEALING N HEALTH.In other words detoxification. Somebody, please take it on board.
Jazakallah . Highly beneficial discussion
Kindly make dua for me and watch on CZcams: What is your concern? (Powerful Reminder)
Nafil fasting is very good for body and soul . Mondays and Thursdays! Small portions. Lot of water. Dates. Nuts. Natural foods ie what you cultivate !
„The Sacred Origin of Sports and Culture“, Ghazi bin Muhammed
keep away from simple carbs that are made from highly processed grains and make your portions very small.
Hello!.🙏🌹🌹🌹🏴
Invariably programs from Cambridge Central Mosque are deficient in sound quality. In this discussion the interviwer is very hard to understand becaue the sound is not loud enough.
Will the recording be made available, please? Thank you.
It’s on CZcams
Kindly make dua for me and watch on CZcams: What is your concern? (Powerful Reminder)
I’m having more vegetable soups to help lose weight
The keto diet suits Muslims
Dear Brother-In-Islam who is interviewing, your voice is only poorly audible.
As an Islamic medicine student i should tell you shiekh that you are missing out on many things for being secluded from the Imams of Ahlul Bayt (as) as you never mentioned any narration from them while Prophet Muhammad (S) said
I leave behind amongst you 2 precious things
1. Qur'an
2 Ahlul Bayt
As long as you stick to them, you will go astray and you will meet me in the paradise
Slightly insufferable, and not the sheikh
