I could listen to this man for hours, and I have been for days.
Football is a boring game, just because it’s popular doesn’t mean it’s any good. Just means ordinary joe soaps don’t know any better, makes them feel all primitive and tribal. The better it’s played the more boring it gets. At least it’s funny to watch it played badly. Boxing is only for connoisseurs... 😆🥊💥
David Griffiths if it’s not good then why is it so popular in a good way?
@MANCHESTER UNITED F.C your calling it soccer what a clown 😂
@M Stop begging for attention kid
I listen to him for hours every other day/week/month for years.
Never will this world see another man this great. RIP champ❤️
Never!!
Thank god, America doesn't need cowards like Clay.
@@georgecortina9481the world dosnt need people like you
Muhammad Ali = Guts + Power + Extraordinary Skills + Speed + Intelligence + Integrity + Durability + Determination + Inner Strength + X-Factor + ...= The Greatest
Well said Sir
Facts
Definitely...humour and witticism are definitely a great part of Ali's admirable arsenal. RIP "The Greatest Champion & Fighter".
@Fit Boy Abdul you have right
You can remove power. He had the power of the average heavy, just very accurate.
Didn't want to retire because of the state of the world, because he knew he could help. That hit me right in the heart. What a man.
Not just a greatest fighter but a great human being. You will be miss on this earth mr Ali
Vince Ngo literally just said this out loud to myself!
Absolutely
So very true.
I think he was a really a good man besides being the greatest boxer of all time I think all that bragging and talking was mainly an act
Other than his legendary boxing ability, he's one of the greatest talkers of all time, you can listen to him for hours
ya
This is why this man is my hero. Greatest in so many ways. RIP Ali

From now until the day I die, I will never understand how anyone in the entire world could possibly dislike the sheer human GREATNESS that was Muhammad Ali.Nor would I ever really want to.
They dislike Jesus...that says a lot!
This amazing man was greater than life as Big George Foreman described him after his death during an interview. I am currently reading his biography " The spirit of a butterfly, reflections on a life's journey" and God what a thrilling experience to see Muhammad's life through his own eyes and philosophy.
When he talked about regretting to turn his back on Malcolm X and his apology for hurting Joe Frasier and his family, it was so touching and emotional, you can feel how sincere he was. In the book, Ali wrote: “Joe made me fight harder than I ever thought I could. He was a formidable opponent whose skills I will always respect.
“But I had hurt Joe in more ways than one and I didn’t realize at the time how my words and actions impacted his family. It was never my intention to hurt them. For that, I’m sorry.”
He even wrote a poem for Joe and his family, published in his biography.
I picked some parts from the poem titled "The Silent Warrior" to share the beauty of it with everybody:
There lives a great fighter named Joe
Who took his share of blows
They ranged from high to low
He traveled around the globe
And walked the long road home
His pain no man could know.
There lives a great man named Joe
Who was belittled by a loudmouth foe
While rival would taunt and tease,
Joe silently bore the stings
And fought like a gladiator in the ring.
Long after the final bout ended
After the last bell rang
News reached Joe’s old opponent
,
Of the pain his family had suffered
The blows weren’t intended to hit home
But his family still remembers the anguish
Their hurt had never ended
Now Ali could feel Joe’s pain
And Ali’s sorrow could not be relieved
For every struggle that Joe survived
For every dispute he endured, to rise.
Joe will go down in history
As a model for champions to come
Joe Frazier was a silent warrior
whom Ali silently admired.
One could not rise without the
other.
He mahammid is who I could and had called a real uncel dad.
That poem is so amazing
There is a biography of Mohammad Ali 'the greatest'
Rest in Peace, Champ. There will never be another one like you ever again!
Yea yea yea...💪💪💪💪
I'm going to be in Females 🧲
This man was so humble and funny and so so handsome..He was probably getting sick already but he could answer every question and was so humorous.
RIP Champ..

Hats off to the Mother who raised a noble man like Mohammad Ali. The uncrowned king of who uplifted Humanity.
Mother and Father
it just astounds me at how magnetic this man was. He had charisma, integrity, and ability to back it all up.
He definitely had a way with words.
Jamming Namming True that.
This is the real secret of Ali's success. Here we see him in his natural element, holding court with the press. Young people raised in the era of Twitter might not understand, but these newspaper and magazine writers held enormous power to make or break careers. And Ali always knew how to give them something to write about.
Well he knew how to be a character

Ali knew his sport and the show business of the fight. He was marvelously nuanced, brilliantly intelligent and humane, way ahead of his time, dignified and courageously stepped into his power, and commanded a truly funny sense of humor. I think he deep down had a lot of humility as a spiritual man, but that said, he also had ultimate confidence in his capabilities and his charisma - electromagnetic. 🐐⚡️
Mohamad Ali really was a genius. RIP, great man. We'll all miss you... :(
Absolutely!!! . . . Muhammad Ali was a Genius!! He had a brilliant mind -- an exceptionally high boxing and social IQ.

For a really unsecured person that I am, listening to this man, the way he express, without hesitation and how secure he is about what he talks about is like drugs. I wish being born back in 1960 to witness this magnificent man.
anyone who disrespects a man who done so much for the black community should be punished.
muhammad ali is the most inspiring person, he truly is the greatest
He was not only a great boxer. He was a very intelligent person that I wish I could have had a long conversation with.
Wow that poem was brilliant
I can listen all day his talks. He is the greatest..😍
Ali: one of the most entertaining men to have ever lived, and a compassionate man
henry cooper: a true gentleman
Now I know that it wasn't only his boxing skills, but his Personality and intellect that makes him G- O- A- T🙏
G he was so fascinating. I can't get enough of these videos.
Me too...His inspiration lives on. Great man.
Same here! Been watching for weeks now!
I mean, come on. compare his interviews with todays' sports stars, eg basketball players on late night shows. they can't string two sentences together. Ali is so cerebral and smart and globally clued in. My word. Mindblown.
A champion that was truly committed to humanity.........absolutely the greatest. RIP
lol, he hated white people in this era
@rikard andersson although he thought segregation was the solution for black Americans during this time, to say he hated all white people even in this time period is completely incorrect. His trainer of 21 years, Angelo Dundee, was white for one.
Ali had been visiting Britain for a number of years, he had a great love affair with this country. unlike Americans we valued this great and did not have prejudices. Ali definitely loved Britain too
I thought this was a 10 minute video but turns out it was a 45 minute video. Such a joy to listen to
❤
I LOVE YOU MOHAMMED ALI, YOU ARE THE GREATEST, BOXER AND ENTERTAINER... NO I'M NOT A MUSLIM BOY, I'M A SIKH BOY... Love the respect Ali had for Sir Henry Cooper, a warrior respects another great warrior
More like a God respecting a warrior
Cooper really did have him!
RIP Muhammad Ali! You will always be the greatest. I'm not a fan of boxing but you're the best athlete ever because you could win everyone's hearts all over the world. Love and respect champ ❤️

UK TV they give Muhammad Ali great respect
This is really something. Those people were so respectful and educated.
I have never seen something like this
From 36:00 to 41:00 is the best spoken thing in the history of modern media
Combining expressing his genius in his own proffession with wonderful sense of humour inside sweat narration added after that with deep wisdom and philosophy in a poetic form
That's far above public speaking genius
Ali the Greatest boxer of all time...
An outstanding man and a hero as far as I am concern. I honor you, sir.
a king amongst men!! 😢
truly
He's a one-man show. Gifted in every way.
He simply oozes class.
Oh man this man is truly legendary he is talking so fluently god bless u man.
Greatest fighter and one of the great personalities of all time.
So charismatic, so smart, so humble, so caring, and so giving. And stinky little Mayweather thinks he is better than this man??? LOL
Did mayweather actually say that. If he did he must of got hit to many times. Rip Ali
ye
M. Ali is great in so many ways. I just love this guy. He exceeds my expectation at so many levels. Boxing, politics, socializing, speaking, public speaking, and most of all representing his people!
UK TV shows him a lot of respect...
I noticed that.. true
he was loved in Britain. an absolute superstar here, even at the time in which was in the states
+NoSurrender786 it wasnt used to be like that, he beat the britisj champion than they hated him lol
MUHAMMAD ALI IS THE GREATEST BOXER SINCE CASSIUS CLAY...
Funny
LOL
Except for Malcolm x
adam aguiar" MALCOLM LITTLE" WASN'T A BOXER...
So Muhammed used to "sledge" opponents in the ring. Haha.
Watching this I just realised that my grandad had the same smack talk as Ali. The man would tell me he could crush a walnut with his eyelids 🙈. He was built when I was little, and was a boxer as a youngen, actually quite astounding to realise the confidence he had was on a par with Ali. Awesome bloke, really miss him, would be over 100 now 💕
They don't make them these days like they used to, RIP

The kid did not look pleased, and R.I.P Muhammad Ali will be missed dearly
Nice
Man he's a talking machine!! Fun, serious... He's a genius!! Really, the greatest!
Gift of the gab
His two greatest gifts were stolen from him. He's a true champion and a legend!!
This guy is incredible...a phenom in the ring and outside too.
that man was so special its incredible' his intelligence, his charm, his humour, his charisma, his magnetism, nobody comes close to him in todays world of celebrity.
When I was six years old I met Ali in Miami at that 5th street gym. All I remember were a LOT of people being in the gym that day, being pushed toward Ali while he sat on the ring apron,. and being with him in a circle of people around us. He asked me if I could fight, I remember looking at my dad who was smiling (so I knew everything was okay) and then Ali and I started slap-boxing (I have a picture of it as well). I just didn't know why so many people were around and pictures were being taken etc etc. Needless to say I grew up as a fan, and to this day, if I could pick one person during my lifetime to sit and have dinner with, it would be Ali. Definitely a special man. Also, at the time of this interview, he was without doubt the most famous person in the world. I don't know if there has been a more famous person in my life than Ali. Aside from his celebrity, the man had a good heart. That is what I will remember most about him...he had a good heart.
i was born in 1988 and im irish so i never really got the chance so i envy you i must say.
I remember the fights in the 60's. They were closed circuit and I listened to them live on the radio on a Monday or maybe a Wednesday night. Then ABC would get them and telecast them in color on the weekend like Saturday afternoon. The magic of a good radio announcer is something to experience. He would use his words, emotions flowing with the fight and his ability to bring it to life and your mind would produce the images, a sort of mental movie created by your own mind. It's a magical thing. Then to see the actual fight days later was like opening presents at Christmas. I saw George Chuvalo, Karl Mildenberger, Ernie Terrell, Oscar Bonavena and Jimmy Ellis fights this way. It was a great time for the world and America especially when Muhammad Ali was in his prime. I loved him at first sight.
Ali was the Elvis of boxing. Haters gonna hate.
Right on man
he was unique human being blessing and peace upon his soul....thank u for all the memories !!!
Faaaast, He hit me so fast he hit me before God got the news... Muhammed Ali is the man.
So sad we lost all those years of this man's genius
#Muhammed Ali .. there will be no one like you in centuries. I am blessed to live in your era.
He made his mark in boxing and he's a living legend and one of a kind
That kid was so awkward at the end lol
right? He looked like he didn't want to be there at all. Once he started sparring, he was pretty quick, though
Virl S Yeah!
Didnt like how ali clowned him though with the dum ad you look commentinfront of the white man
@@flex2125 No. He was getting the guy to come out of his shell. And it worked! Ali was highly intelligent and knew exactly what he was doing.
Muhammad Ali is the greatest athlete globally. He is was so funny, inspiration and my hero.RIP, the greatest man on the planet earth and the champ.
Oh oh I said " this is the wrong place to get tired" Lol!

That no class thug dared to compare himself and say he even bettet. Made me sick. Mayeather will be forgotten easily but Ali will live forever. We miss you champ
Muhammad Ali was in my young days as Tiger Wood for golf. His ways to fight enchanted all world. A person with great sense of freedom, generous heart and consciousness. A great champion to be in the memory of human kind.
"I don't think I'm pretty, I know I'm pretty" had me in stitches XD
That's mean, I'm white and I know I'm pretty too ;)
Yes but I'm British, and once again, I'm pretty ;) Tom Hardy among many other British people are also pretty
Peter Atea
You are a dumbass racist.
am not racist,I'm just been real truly if you compare Ali and the people, you will see the difference
Ali is a very good looking man in general, but I've seen white men, English ones who're better looking.
Rest in peace champ. In the first day of 2020 I just want to say that you still are the greatest.
I love Ali..I really do
Me too. In fact I pray everyday to be given a chance to meet him in heaven. May the lord God grant me that wish. Ameen.
I am 99 years old and will commenting every year here on same date next years. I hope to live to be 150 years old. May Ali's soul bless me.
Yo man

What an amazing guy. Funny, candid and confident all at the same time. An athlete and an entertainer.
I am fan of Muhammad Ali and I admire him very much. However, he dis not tell tge tduth when he said he wrote the poem "Truth "
He is,indeed,the greatest!
What a brilliant bloke!! Love him & miss him still.
6:41 “He hit me so fast, he hit me before God get the news“ 😆😆😆😆
Mohammad Ali RIP, you are the greatest champ of the entire world in the history, no one can take your place.
This is a man that transcends boxing! He showed a lot of smarts and a HUGE heart! Muhammad, You are indeed the greatest!
I actually think Ali loved UK more than USA at times. He talks early in this interview about crowd crushing... pity we didn't pick up on that more so Heysal and Hillsborough may never have happen.
He's super lucky to have met a not-too-many years out of his prime Ali. I would have paid a lot of money to have the greatest school me like that. What an honor!
God bless him
One of the most amazing and intelligent personalities ever.
Met him on the set of a movie he was in. I had a very small part, so I was a nobody. One day while eating a craft services lunch out under the oaks in Natchez, Mississippi, Ali comes up to my little 2 man table and he said, "May I join you?" I of course said, "Yes, my pleasure, please do." At that time, I was a young, white, 19 year old film student. And I was thrilled! Long story short, we ate, had great casual conversation and he ended by showing me several magic tricks he was working on. Ali was an awesome magician!
More than any thing else, I was most impressed with how pure of heart he was. There was a child like love he had of everyone and everything. You couldn't help but love him back... and I did... and still do.
Muhammad Ali was a wonderful human being. We should all follow his example.
My grandma used to day... "The love we were born with is far more powerful than the hate the world teaches us... and love is the only thing that can cure hate."
Grandma and Ali had a lot in common.
Breaks my heart that i never got to meet this amazing man....
R.i.p. Muhammad...
Your legacy will live on forever.
He was really an entertainer and philanthropist. At present He is no more but he will remain our heart forever. May your soul be rest in eternal peace my champion.of the champion.
Ali was soooo powerful with his ideas and concepts that white America still came to his fights.
alotta of them came because they wanted to see him lose
+David Cobb LOL your having a laugh!
Ali was so entertaining and so much fun he was made of teflon, everybody enjoyed him......
Appreciate the respect he gave Henry Cooper. I'm astounded by this mans value on all grounds
I am almost 51 now and I loved ali...biggest athlete of the 20th century.
43:45 Ali was the greatest boxer of all time so when they say a young kid is a boxer he probably thought he was part of the potential Olympic youth team or a champion of the future. But when the boy did the first punch it was clear he didn't even know a basic jab, I think they chose him without checking if he could box, or perhaps the boy said he would like to box and the producers got their wires crossed. YET look how humble and kind Ali was, he didn't in anyway try to humiliate the boy instead he did everything he could to make the boy look good and make him feel strong inside. That's the sign of a true champion, Ali was the greatest, but not just as a boxer but as a Human being!!
Bit late, but I think the boy is a southpaw that's why his first jab kinda awkward.
Ali is a great human being, whatever his beliefs.
Never been a guy like him before or after, a true anomaly and genius.
I am South African and love Muhammad ALI.What a great man.
I love you Muhammad you truly were and are the GREATEST!! You will never be forgotten!!
And Mayweather thinks he's better than this man??? LOL
My foot, doesn't even come close. He must be having a laugh.
+Mike Orsini In 1966 at 200 pounds , was faster than Mayweather at 147...
+barracuda7018 especially he's jab !
Mike Orsini He can dream let the man know i said dream on . Muhammad didn't just fight, what made him great is what he stood for ,i don't think Mayweather has shown his people or any race of people that yet or if ever.
Agreed Cynthia! As great an athlete as Ali was, it was almost secondary to his stature as a moral human being and civil rights leader. Mayweather was a great athlete...but he's not even in the same ballpark as a human being.
regardless of his religious beliefs, black, white, Asian, Latino, etc..... loved this man!!! he transcended race on all levels!!!
Muhammad Ali, so much grace, well spoken/ master of publicity, humility & cocky in a very good way, respect for all, what a personality
Muhammad Ali was the Greatest of all Time, that's an undisputed fact. He loved his sport, was engaging with just about anyone he met, a showman, a intelligent man and Ali was a gifted athlete. His best quality, however, he was humble and had a big heart. Ali was, THE CHAMP!!! R.I.P.👍
simply the Greatest very powerful man
man what chemistry, great!
The heavyweights of today are great and all but coming off those videos onto Ali videos you realize that there's another level that this man alone stands on. I only wish i could have witnessed his career unfold live. People that did were lucky.
I wish I could have witnessed it as well
that was fantastic. great upload!
Interesting, Ali wears no ring or watch. Like he's always ready for the ring. The greatest athlete of my generation. Love his candid reflections of boxing.
His intelligence is unique. I desire his IQ. RIP champ. Always GREATEST!
A true definition of humbleness, humour and greatness.
Love you Muhammad Ali. ❤
