I’m a very young 85 who has been a Joe B fan for around 15 years. Been to two of his concerts - one in Phoenix & a year & a half later @ the Red Rocks near Denver. Really liked Beth when I first heard her do “The LA Song”, then she sort of disappeared into the druggie world & then she re-emerges with Joe & together, they knock ‘em out of the park!!

I am GREEN with envy that you've been able to go to two concerts. Joe was in Vancouver a couple of years ago (I live on Vancouver Island), but I hadn't heard of him then. The fact that Joe B plays that Tele with high distortion is very, very fitting, if you hear either Tom Waits studio version or any live version, there's just much grit in it.... and Joe does a great job bringing that out in the solo.
