Deuce can score in the red zone really well. He is quick and it is so hard to see him coming. The Cowboys need to throw him passes in the end zone. On pass routes, he is always open somewhere. Use his height to their advantage. For his size, he has good hands.
Its not about qb they talking about dallas d line. Because even mahomes is screwed if his oline gets destroyed. Thats why defensive ends get paid that much they can negate a qbs impact. But yeah lets see how dallas d matches up against running qbs like hurts or lamar@@josephblight9421

Dallas look legit! Micah Parsons is just an extraordinary talent. He is a playmaking destroyer. He reminds me of LT, he is such a generational pass rusher. It’s absolutely astounding that he is already the leader and the best player on the team in his 3rd year. Because his influence on the game and his teammates is like that of an 8 year veteran.
He is a special player, and I reluctantly say this as a Giants fan. I genuinely believe he is arguably pound for pound the best player in the leg, regardless of position.
He is also a stand-up person off the field as well. I was shocked when he said that the Giants should’ve taken DJ out of the game in the 4th quarter last week. That just shows you his character, and the respect he has for his fellow competitors.

I love McCarthy’s play calling. He’s gonna make you respect the run one way or another, and it’s just a matter of time before Lamb hurts you. That mixed with this defense is a great recipe for success.
Mike is calling old school games moving the chains breaking down the defense much better than Kellen Moore did.

What I love about McCarthy calling the offense is how Prescott progresses through his reads a lot faster than he did when Moore was offensive coordinator
And McCarthy is giving him easy throws. The first drive was just methodically picking up what we could and it seemed like Prescott was eased into throwing the ball farther down the field.

Yes. He's also compelling Dak to play within that system. A lot less improvising, a lot less high risk - high-reward (or interception) like the last two years.
Our point differential in 2 games is 70-10. I love that our offense can be steady as she goes and the defense absolutely DEVOURS the opposing offense.

Yeah we did good first 2 games but our offense needs to score at least 14-21 points a game if our kicker and defense is in position to close out games. We have to finish drives if we are in the 20 and 10 yard line

Last year, they did have problems stopping the run. This year, so far it's better. But it still lingers a little.

@@brianseneca3546 I was born in 1977. I don't recall the Doomsday defense. But since the 80s, I haven't seen a defense this dominant. Not even the 90s defense, or the 2007 defense. We shall see if they keep this up! But doing this in 2023 is more impressive than the 70s - 90s when the average score was lower. My favorite defense of all time was the 85 Bears. Then the 2000 Ravens. I think this defense could be at that level!

I’m an Eagles fan. And I know saying this is blasphemy but the Cowboy’s defense is fun and refreshing to watch. That team is really good and Dak will never get the credit the way he gets the blame. He had a good game and I feel they will go far this year. It’s definitely eagles and cowboys that run our division
I'm a Cowboys fan but I still can't get on the Dak train. I just don't have confidence in him and a lot of Cowboys fans I've talked to say the same thing. That being said, the team as a whole is impressive, much like the Eagles. We will see how this year plays out.

Rodgers can throw it better and makes quick decisions. But Wilson has young fresh legs and can scramble/run much better. The Cowboys pass rush had their way today. At least Wilson figured out how to climb in the pocket and escape in the 2nd half. I think Rodgers would have done even worse. Aaron would have had to throw hot routes all day and done a lot of dinking and dunking and throw aways. No big plays there. Wilson was quite frustrated half way through the game and I dont blame him. When you have guys in your face every snap ya can't do jack squat. No QB can.

@@johnydildo4285no it was conservative football. They were hoping the jets would miss a tackle or blow a coverage with those short passes or inside runs and it failed all night. Their defense is too good for that. Lamb was cooking all night yet they gave him zero opportunities in the redzone, not even a single fade route to the outside and they even ignored him on one completely open route he had in the endzone. They were way too safe with the play calling in the redzone. I understand protecting the ball but it’s a different thing to play safe.
Reminds me of the year Baltimore did this and rode the back of the Defense to a Super Bowl. The tell tell sign will be when Dallas faces off with the niners. Then I’ll get in the hype train. Lifetime fan and am 47 so lived in the Super Bowl years and 1990s dominance. Cowboys nation has waited a long time to be a true contender. Great game for the Boys and looking forward to a great year. As a Cowboys fan, I love the Ravens culture. I wish Dallas had their culture. Only two games in but Dallas has a Ravens-like defense. I remember the Ravens having Ray Lewis and Ed Reed at the same time and just in awe at how good they were.

I thought Dallas fans were over Dak being nothing more than a “Garbage Time Stat Machine”, why do all of a sudden we care about being flashy & putting up crazy stats & scores like Kellen Moores offense? McCarthy called a hell of a game chewing out the clock & getting Dallas into the red zone as many times as possible all while still being able to put up as many points as possible, hats off to the kicker I feel like this is a real confidence booster for the big fish that are yet too come

McCarthy is playing it easy with the play calling nothing too aggressive showcasing the defense
The offense has been more efficient though. Kellen's offense was hit or miss. The only drive I was disappointed on is when Dak over through a wide open tight end in the end zone. But I like the quick reads and short passes. Also, going deep from time to time to keep defenses honest. Kellen's offense could be dominant, but when things weren't working, it was terrible and he couldn't adjust. I trust McCarthy to know how to make adjustments more whenever the offense struggles. But its a safe offense that is compatible to this great defense. Very similar to the 49ers. Except I will take Dak over Brock running the same offense!
That’s why the won’t get far with a coach that was carried by Aaron rodgers. And a dink and dunk, check down passer Dak.

If you subtract the blown coverage on Garrett Wilson's TD, Wilson went 11 of 26 for 102 yards and 3 picks. While he made some decent plays with his feet, he's going to get SMASHED 100% of the time against defenses that are good.

Giants were/are a playoff caliber team. This Jets team is pretty salty as well, putting the hurt on Buffalo last week, which is one of the best teams in the AFC.
I've been a Cowboy fan since 1960. I won't say this is the best Cowboy team we've had, but it is doing well. More TDs and less FGs will be necessary to win against the better teams though. Love the new kicker. The way they are using Parson's is working wonderfully and the Offense getting in and out of the huddle quickly and decisively is working for me also.

what nobody seems to understand is that when you are in a situation wilson was in late in the game down multiple scores, you HAVE to throw the ball down the field no matter what can happen. Choking isn't throwing a pic under those circumstances, choking is dumping it off to a player for minimal to no gain or throwing the ball away. No Chance for a win in that situation. Very little chance to win by throwing the ball down the field but very little chance beats no chance.
This Cowboy defense destroyed Matt Ryan last year.
