In this video, I had my auto-fire behavior on in the settings from the Top 15 video. This bugged the weapon and stopped it from charging, so I thought the charge feature was bugged. However, using the auto-fire setting lets you use the charge barrel to shoot fast and add some extra damage.
After further testing using the charge barrel, you only get extra damage WITH the AUTO setting on. I lose the extra damage when spamming when I turn the auto setting off.

also the MORS is considered a railgun. uses electromagnetic "bolts" to shoot at incredible speeds.
i believe railguns exist in experimental versions irl, but most notably in video games was the rorsch mk1 in bf4 that shot bolts at 3k+m/s.
Just use the largest barrel with explosive ammo and you'll see that the auto setting really doesn't matter much.
Yeah doesn’t matter too much but extra damage is extra damage. It still amazing without it but the goal was to make the best version.
If you use the charge barrel you need to make sure you charge it up first, too. Otherwise damage and velocity goes way down. You are better off using any of the other barrels if you dont have any plans to charge it up.

Doesn't work. Even when using the charge barrel it's still just full auto with no charge. From my testing I was getting the extra damage even without the charge part working atm.

He was using the charge barrel if you dont hold the trigger it does severely reduced damage with that barrel on
I am the furthest thing from an expert on this but, the MORS is a type of weapon known as a Rail Gun. The concept as I understand is to use the forces of Magnetism to launch a bullet/slug. This is why the barrel is electrified when firing a shot. Which makes me wonder where the rifle is getting the energy to fire
Maybey like the energy weapons from advanced or infinite the sorry of energy cell batter pack but who knows
I actually learned this in physics in college at some point. I don’t remember the exact details either but when you run a current through a wire it generates a magnetic field that “circles it” and a rail gun is called a rail gun because it has 2 rails that act as wires that you run current through. The resulting magnetic field causes a force on the projectile between the two rails. I don’t understand the logic behind the directionn of the forces whatsoever but it’s a thing. The force is made stronger in two ways, by making the rails longer, or pushing a higher current through the rails. So it makes sense that a sniper with a long barrel would use this mechanism, but there is definitely a question that you added which is where is the MORS getting so much energy (current) to fire the rail gun
Edit: the Gustav Cannon that the Germans made in WW2 was a rail gun with extremely long rails to generate a ton of force. Very impressive piece of technology that saw no usage
You're right, a railgun is NOT a laser/plasma/photon gun.

There's a battery in the stock, coilgun is more accurate for this weapon since it uses copper windings around the barrel to pull the slug through the barrel.

This is the gun I thought of when the Terminator was at the gun shop talking about a plasma rifle in the 40 watt range that hadn't been invented yet.
This gun has been awesome to use in Zombies, I had the same reaction after shooting it packed for the first time lol. Crown-50 Barrel, FSS Ole-v Laser, Jak NRG-IV Optic, Superlite-90 Stock and HVP Explosive Slug.
I tested this and without seeing this video totally i can say the mega and bosses are hard to kill with this sniper. All other zombies are just blown and shredded by this weapon.

The description says its a railgun, which, in short, uses powerful magnets to accelerate a metal slug to extremely high velocities. The aftermarket for it, however, will make it into an energy weapon to my understanding.

Yeah it’s an inert slug of something. The propellant is the electromagnetic coils along the barrel that accelerate the slug to hypersonic speeds.

The MORS is a railgun. Meaning that it doesn't use traditional cartridges and gunpowder. The electricity appearance when it fires is the two magnets working to basically propel the big metal slug at incredible speed
this thing is so good for room clearing when papd. just shooting at the ground stuns all zombies lol
It's like Halo 2 anniversary with the scarab skull and boom with a sniper rifle.
BTW with the after-market barrel, you can hold the trigger for more damage and it's projectile to travel faster. Given it's a rail gun aka a gun that uses magnets to accelerate a metal slug to excessive speeds.
Try the explosive slug, super elite stock, quick bolt and jak glass less and redo the test
The MORS is pretty much a railgun cuz when you use the charge barrel, you can see the magnets charge up to launch the steal projectile

The railgun uses a hardcast metal slug and the gun istelf is a large supermagnet that is designed to rocket it out at high velocity

In zombies, I don't even think speed cola helps with reload cause I didn't see a noticeable difference (that or mine broke and didnt go into affect during that game)
The special barrel attachment does increase damage, buy you MUST hold the trigger down til its fully charged and then let go of the trigger. The pros and cons explain exactly when the pros and cons occur. The cons occur when you don't fully charge the weapon before firing and it will severely hurt the damage and velocity.

Yeah it’s great without it. And the extra damage without charging is most likely a bug and will get fixed at some point.
Downfall light barrel, mors dot sight if you like third person. Superlite 90 stock, quickbolt, anti matter ammunition and shatter blast ammo mod leg tool and t3 pap is amazing

You didn't charge the barrel for the AMP, this is a good barrel you can use for the mors, and the camo glitch that gives you gold in game still does work.

The Jak Purifier (Flamthrower) was Nerfed only against Elites/Specials its still very viable in every Tier vs Normal Hordes. The Jak Chainsaw also is still amazing it didnt get nerfed at all and destorys everything in every Tier. This Mors takes the Flamethrowes place for most OP but its now what the Stormender Launcher was supposed to be, so whats the point of the Stormender EmP?

I prefer the Haymaker, even with a epic tool and pack 2, you can still do very well with most contracts, except for hvt, pack 3 with epic is great too, legendary is definitely more for dark aether, it's my favorite gun for sure.

@Vxrsin4l slimline pro sight, military foregrip, 20 round drum,(obviously) slug rounds, (because the slug rounds do the same thing as the 680 slug rounds after the season 2 reloaded update) and the big ass suppressor, (can't remember the name of that off hand.)

I miss energy weapons. They need to deal damage like regular caliber weapons well maybe both but a little extra.
Holy shit I got to try it and lvl it up in zombies as soon as I can. Tho it seems it doesn't higher dmg than the stalker on specials. Ima try nearly all the perks,shatter blast and go immediately in tier3 with pack 3 and legendary tool. I was think of a the wundwaffle as a secondary or something,any yall have any recommendations for a good secondary
on the mors the barrel you have put on for extra damage you need to hold down fire button to charge the shot
Not with fire behavior on auto it will not let you charge it but still gives you the extra damage.
Have u seen the Kong fist(super puncher melee) u get when u buy all 4 Kong and gorilla skins..... that's 80 dollars in skins for a special unlock....I'm betting that's ginna be super op to try to get ppl to pay all that

You cannot with fire behavior set to auto. Doesn’t let you charge but gives you more damage without charging vs the other barrels

For anyone who doesn’t have it yet or hasn’t used it yet best combo use the non charge barrel not sure of the ammo type matters but if so the 2nd worked for me and quick pull to shoot faster it does explosive damage.good for mobs not good for bosses can be used on them and will work but the smoke from the explosion makes it harder to get a second shot off on the crit spot
Charge barrel adds more damage even know the charge doesn't work correctly. Just spamming with it and the charge barrel does quite a bit more damage.
@@LegoUnlocked yes but the charge has a shotgun effect right now not sure if it supposed to work that way but for me and I would guess most people would get better use of using it like a better quicker crossbow, it also feels more consistent I have had moments where when I had the charge on and wanted a quick shot it had a delay or just charged a bit and didn’t shoot. Both are good I just believe as it is now the explosion works great for mobs, and still ok for bosses with more consistent shooting.

@@LegoUnlocked that’s pretty useful to know actually but I just use normal settings and on controller so that doesn’t effect me to much but if you get it the full effect with auto might be best way to use it, but I still feel like it’s better as explosion my opinion obviously.
