- Guitars of the Day! Taking a look at 2 of the newest ESP artists: Jack Simmons (Slaughter to Prevail) and Cody Quistad (Wage War),two of the highest-profile names in modern deathcore and metalcore. Jack Simmons already has a Fluence-loaded blood spatter EX-7 on the way, and it'll be interesting to see what Cody does with ESP!

That blood spatter finish looks totally boss, if you're 13.
ESP has a weird esthetic. Their custom shop consistently does some of the wildest, blingiest shit you can imagine, but their production models are like 90% your basic boring black or white.
Yeah Agufish' purple splatter ESP is one of my favorite finishes ive ever seen. I'd love something like that on a guitar i could actually afford one day.
That is just the US market side, they make some gorgeous japan only guitars (albeit javier reyes' 8 string strat was an exception).
I concurr on the boring black or white. A maple top would really be nice on their designs.

Esp also added joe occhuiti from ice nine kills to their roster. He was previously playing music man and ibanez. I believe he’s been rocking the phoenix and gb bass models recently
About Jack Simmons and his EX-7. This guitar is just repainted LTD EX-7 Baritone Black Metal with FF pickup. Saw on his Instagram. Even the truss rod cover is labeled as "Black Metal".
How long has the Mick Thomson model been talked about.
Could be coming very soon considering fishman just officially announced the mick thomson fluence set

@@mark6302 I’ve gotten that impression aswell and I can’t understand why. His sound is so generic they sound like every other band right now. I love metal more than most things in life lol. And I can’t stand how stale this genre is at the moment.

ESP signs these guys 10 minutes ago and signature model details are already being discussed. Meanwhile, Mick Thomson signed with them a year ago and we know absolutely NOTHING about his inevitable signature model. With no idea when they might finally reveal it.
