The One is just a hulk of a home, but there are similar homes in Bel Air and Beverly Hills that are equal and not so pricy. Nice...but overkill. It has nothing to envy to many other homes in the area. The price should be closer to 25 mill. But, an idiot will pay for this at this price.

With all due respect to the designer, theres no creativity here at all. for half a billion dollars there should be a little more than these standard luxury home features. For example there should be at least 2 more levels and then a sky deck on top of the top of top floor seen in this video , each with a unique set of features. An example of of a unique feature would be a simulation room or floor that simulates wherever you want to be from places like the beach to the mountains with automated temperature control for immersion . Another example of a feature would be personalized master bedroom tailored to the owner with his own personal A.I. that can tailor his suits and retrieve items from his closet. At the base of the home there should be a 360 degree light up aquarium that ropes the home's hill so its the first thing people see as they drive up the house driveway. There's many feasible ideas but this current home is all to bland to be called "The one".
I like youre ideas the house itself is a blank canvas so it would be easy-ish to install an automated advanced A I i suppose. But tell me out of curiosity. Would you keep the plantation slopes around the house? Or would it be a better idea to concreate them off due to fire risk? And also the house seems easily accessed from the road for wouldbe intruders so how does a person solve that issue do you think? Thanks
@@Ghost-cs9dy hard to tell if closing off public road access would hinder nearby neighbors. But if possible i would private off the road that leads to the driveway and make it accessible for residents only via card or code access.As for the plantation slopes I would personally keep them for aesthetic purposes but if fire risk proves to be an issue then parts and positions should be cut into for safety. Aside from this an additional feature I would’ve added is some kind of private underground driveway tunnel (which is probably impossible now due to base stability and plumbing that may have already been done. And some other ideas actually
Yeah I'm pretty sure Jennifer Aniston would object to a private road as she was the driving force against the one in the first place. I do think the main gate should be at the turn off the main road as opposed halfway up the drive. You want privacy not people halfway up you're drive. What makes the developer think he'll sell "The One" to "the one" for $500 Million. This house won't sell for $500 Million. The developer will be lucky if he gets half that. But it's a nice little gimmick, the house priced at $500 million. It's a unique touch. But in actuality will possibly sell for less than half that.
This comment aged well. It sold for 138 million. And the developer lost money. Although from the looks of a recent tour video, they didn't manage to put in all the features, like the aquarium room. The interior video looks way more stylish too, than the stuff they put it in there. The finishes are more simple, the video has expensive stone walls but they aren't there.
