A lot of fans want to see Paddy Pimblett vs Ilia Topuria, but I don't think the UFC wants to make this fight right now. Ilia called for a matchup with Brian Ortega. Brian Ortega vs Ilia Topuria in Spain would be amazing. Another option could be Movsar Evloev vs Ilia Topuria, both are undefeated and this could be another top level featherweight bout.

Ilia Topuria is ready for everybody and doesn't have a weak area. Ilia Topuria's knockouts are scary and his ground game is super solid also, he proved once again against the strong Bryce Mitchell.

Id like to see him fight Paddy. Maybe it doesnt do much for him in terms of fetherweight ranking, but its a real beef (love those) its a fight thats gonna bring buzz and exciting conferences, it kinda evens out i think ilia is better than Paddy but they would fight 155, so better for Paddy. And if not now then when, when Topuria will be higher rated the fight wont make as much sense.

I think Paddy gets killed by Ilia and it will sell big and also maybe Paddy gets some humble pie and gets his act right for a redemption ark
@@wicked25 i think ilia might be small favorite but hes one fight at 155 vs jai herbert looks like he dominated and early finisged if you havent seen the fight hes had decent problems vs him and it was actualy a very hard fight, so i do think that the weight matters alot here and paddy def can win this one mainly becouse hes more of a lightweight than Ilia.

Really good fighter ofc but future champion? Thats gonna be hard as long as Volk and Max are in their prime but few years in who knows atm in top 15 hes the best guy right there with Yair and Arnold Allen so ye hes really good. In 2 years alot can change in the top spectrum Someone new can show up, someone thats gonna be a monster.
Like Masvidal said: “Might be”, it’s not easy at all. I do think he has that potential! He has no real weak area and is a finisher, but yeah also the featherweight division is very stacked in my eyes!
I dont see HOW Max can beat Ilia ....with Volk its a different whole story, still a little bit too much for Topuria right now but this guy is improving as hell. FUTURE WORLD CHAMP for sure just a matter of time.
