Going from sitting outside Tamworth Town Hall not being able to afford to watch Keith play,.. to then just two years later playing his song in front of him, slaying it, having Keith & Jess turn, actually playing with Keith, him giving you his pick and being on his freaking team. When you're singing a coach's song to them, you either have to ace it or do a unique twist on it.... in this case he absolutely aced it, no doubt about it! I wish him luck in the series... one of the best so far IMO.

I’m devastated he didn’t go through, what is with the judges choosing shitty pop songs when a guy has a voice like this. People love country style and this isn’t strictly country for a reason. And I’m sure I’m not the only one. He wasn’t given a real opportunity I feel.
he was up against lane who was also a country singer (and his actual friend, and band mate) and they turned miley's song (pop) into a country song mixed with nix (classic rock) nothing shitty about that it was a very good performance, at the end of the day i think it was a very hard choice as both contestants were amazing, but i think lane had a more distinct voice and was going over freddie. im sure thats why urban picked lane, but i think lane shouldve gone through at the end tho...
