Best race if the season. Lead changes, back and forth duels, aggressive but fair racing, somehow no cautions for crashes (Paul Tracy effect?), varying strategies and a bunch of great drivers duking it out. Hell yeah!
Yes nice not to see a demolition derby! What a great race! Wrecking everyone isn't racing! This was great short track racing at its best! People who think this was boring watch for the wrong reasons! They have demo derby's for that! Great race
I would love to see her in a few more Xfinity races. I just don't think the trucks fit her racing style. Not to mention that she gets absolutely taken out in 75% of her races. Still think she's got a lot of natural talent. Great drive in this race.

I grew up going there in the 80s and 90s when I lived in GR. Came up last year from Texas to see the place. Wanted to go to this so bad, but couldn't get the chance to. Hoping they will come again next year. Definitely getting off work for that I'd they do 😀
Wow what a great night of racing. Best race so far of the season. So many good battles. And a hell of a performance tonight from Hailee Deegan. She was in the top three one point battling with Kyle and Brad and kept up with them until a fun caution. I don't know how I feel about those fun cautions yet.
Hailee did even better tonight getting 2nd behind Stewart. She had to get ahead of Newman 3 times (3 cautions at end) to hold onto 2nd place but she clearly outraced him in the dirt tonight!
There's certain people you can block, Ryan Newman, nope. Don't do that I've learned the hard way twice. 😂😂😂 Joeys learned it from a few people more than twice.
I'm so glad NASCAR and SRX are cooperating in the way they are, rather than competing against each other. I love the cross over platform that this series is.
I grew up going to this track as kid (moved to Dallas, TX in 1994), back in the days of Johnny Benson (both Sr & Jr.), Fred Campbell, Mike VanSparrentak, Bob Holley, Chris Orr, Joe Bush, Tim DeVos (I see he is still racing),and lots of other great drivers. I was so badly wanting to get this time off to come up and see the race, but couldn't get it off. Great to see Johnny running there. If they come back next year, I am most definitely going come heck or high water. ESPN did a great job with this
Only one of my old racing group will be happy about this race. His guy won. Meanwhile the favorite for a second person in our group finished 10th. A third had 2 guys finish 8th & second-to-last. And then I had *three* drivers in this race & they finished... 2nd, second-to-last, & last... 😖😖😖 Yeah this obviously didn't go according to plan... But on the brightside it wasn't a wreckfest. So there's that. 😕

It's really sad the couldn't reschedule the rave at Thunderoad international speedbowl in Vermont! That 1/4 high banked track would be ideal for these cars! A regular Thursday night race there packs the stands! Most dedicated fans for a track in America,hands down! Next year !
i really hope you guys come to lee usa or monadknock sometime in NHthe high banks of monadknock would be fun or the high banks weird shape and crazy speed of Lee USA would be a crazy good and fun race 2 to 3 wide easy
Every time SRX Thursday Night Thunder coverage begins and the first thing I hear is Bob Jenkins' voice, it takes me back to being 8 yrs old on my couch with my dad watching Mike Bliss, Robbie Stanley, Both Gordons... Eric and Jeff of course (no relation), Steve Butler and so many other great USAC drivers race every week. It felt so cool to have a race to watch on tv on a school night. I was always allowed to watch the feature before I went to bed. Only night of the week I was allowed to stay up late lol.
I like how the SRX series does commercials during yellow flags only as far as I can see! Great coverage! Tony Stewart and don hawk are smart people who know what fans want! Wish NASCAR big wigs would take note or start sharing the millions the make with team owners! Stop being greedy Nascar,you are ruining racing!

This year has shown how good Kyle really is. It wasn’t m&m’s or Gibbs money. It was Kyle.
Kyle got screwed out of the Daytona 500. I totally believe that. He should have won that race.

Newman driving from 9th to 4th in the first heat and then 9th to 1st in the second heat was so impressive.
I loved this track as a child. Would follow my dad and uncle walking around the infield watching my other uncle race in the dirt.
