JOJOâS bizarre adventure is split up into parts, each following a different member of the joestar family. There are 8 parts in the series but only 5 parts have been animated as of yet. The first 2 parts have a power system called Harmon, then changing to a new system called stands from part 3 onwards. Also Fun fact: stands were the inspiration for the power systemâs in both hunter x hunter and persona.

The best way to watch this show is in order. Donât skip episodes, donât skip parts. Part one is pretty rough, but it is only nine episodes long. After that, it will just keep getting better.

It doesnt really start that slow, episode one could be a whole season on its own with how jam-packed with story it is, it's just that it is a bit generic compared to later parts.

All you really need to know is that the series is split into parts, each part takes place in a different location during a different time period, and each part focuses on a different member of the Joestar family, each of whom is nicknamed JoJo (although Part 5 takes place in Italy, so the main character's name is spelled GioGio). Also the first 3 JoJos do look similar to one another, but trust me they're different people

I may be wrong and if I am, then you can educate me, but, when Giorno Govanna is translated into Japanese, the pronunciation is Joruno Jobana, hence the Jojo in Giornos name but I could be wrong.

The ost and openings are absolutely gorgeous. The visuals are stunning. The characters are all different and they are well thought out and the plot is pure bliss. Different antagonists for each season. Jojos is a blessing :)

Okay. first of all, the openings are all from different "season" - which we,jojo fans, call parts. All parts have new main protagonists, who are the Jojos. That's why the anime's name is Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. For example: JOnathan JOestar referred as "JoJo"- and so does every other protagonist.
The first opening, Sono Chino Sadame is from Part 1 Phantom Blood. The Jojo is Jonathan Joestar, takes place in 1880 England.
Next we have: The second opening, Bloody Stream is from Part 2 Battle Tendency. The second Jojo is Joseph Joestar, takes place in 1938, North America- Europe.
The third opening, Stand Proud and the fourth, End of the World are from Part 3 Stardust Crusaders. The MAIN Jojo is Jotaro Kujo (a familiar face from the Jojo meme community-) takes place in 1988 Tokyo- All around Asia- Cairo, Egypt. The reason why I said MAIN was because some characters tend to show up in multiple, different parts. There was another Jojo, who appeared in this part, which was in some another part before. Those soul fighting things that you have seen throughout these openings are called Stands. A stand is an entity psychically generated by its owner. It generally presents itself as a figure of the user's soul. Stands possess abilities which, depending on the Stand User, can be wielded for good or evil.
End of the World had an.. Interesting element to it, where the main villain tried to "mess" with the opening, just like how they messed with the storyline. The fifth opening, Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town, the sixth Chase and the seventh, Great Days are from Part 4 Diamond is Unbreakable.
The Jojo is Josuke Higashikata,takes place in 1999 Morioh (Japan).
Then again, same thing, main villain messed with the opening.
At this point, we focus on something another. That so famous mask or that stone jewelry which appeared in the first two openings are not the main thing anymore. But something different.... Anyways, let's get on with the last animated part for now:
The eight Fighting Gold and ninth Traitor's Requiem are from Part 5 Golden Wind/Vento Aureo.The.."GioGio" is Giorno Giovanna, takes place in 2001 Italy. The artstyle changings are the.. How should I put this- proofs (?) that the author wanted to do so much more for this series. Every artstyle change represents something about the current timeline. You could see how it went from all buff,strong body to the very feminine, beautiful body.
Oh yeah and one last thing: please be careful with the jojo community! Finish all the parts before you go and look at memes and stuff!

Watching Jojo is one of the best experiences ever. You will not regret watching it. The plot can get weird at times, but you should expect that from the title of the show. Overall, it is amazing (my favorite TV Show of all time in fact) and well worth the watch. Even if you donât react on CZcams, I would seriously recommend you watch Jojoâs.

Jojo is split into Parts i stead of seasons. Every part has its own Jojo, so there isnt just 1. Parts 1 and 2 dont have the 'Person fighting for you', its just fighting, but parts 3 - 5 do have them. Part 6 is hopefully being animated sometime soon. There's hundreds of music references with character and ability names, so enjoy that. I love Jojo so much, its my favourite anime

JoJo is one of the very few Shounen that genuinely surprises you. There asspull scenes, definitely, but not much plot armor, and a lot of development with each character. Part 4 is also darker than it seems.

Part 1 (opening 1) End of 19th century. England. Good family boy (JOnathan JOestar) uses weird breathing technique to fight his evil foster brother (Dio Brando) who become a vampire.
Part 2 (opening 2) 1939. Mexico/Switzerland/Italy. Grandson of Jonathan, JOseph JOestar fight with ancient vampiric metrosexual gods (and Nazis help him...)
Part 3 (opening 3, 4) 80's, Japan, Middle East, Egypt. DIO is back, at least - his head that hijacked Jonathan's body. Joseph takes his Japanese grandson JOtaro KuJO to finally deal with that problem. Stands, personifications of superpowers of characters, are now a thing.
Part 4 (opening 5,6,7,7.5) 1999, Japan. Jotaro comes to the small town of Morioh to meet the extramarital son of Joseph - JOsuke Higashikata (somehow in Japanese it can be read as JoJo as well). Then random people start to manifest Stand powers and apparently there is a psychopathic serial killer with hands fetish in town...
Part 5 (opening 8,9)2001, Italy. Son of Dio (and partially Jonathan) GIOrno GIOvanna (JOrno JOvanna) joins Italian mafia in order to stop drugs dealers from inside by killing their top-secret Boss...
Also people called JoJo are people that have Jo and Jo in their name(mostly one in the first name and one in the last name). Such as Jonathan Joestar,Joseph Joestar,Jotaro Kujo,Josuke Higashikata(âsukeâ is pronounced as Jo sometimes or something like that so they count that as JoJo as well), Jolyne Cujoh, and more. Well, yes actually.
Okay so... This series is definitely worth your time. It's part of what I consider to be the "three greatest Shonen anime" which are in no particular order, JoJo's, Gintama, and HunterxHunter.

I got into jojo because watching the ops got me hyped even though I didnât know or watch anything about jojo.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is....extreme, to put it bluntly; and most certainly bizarre. The show is violent, chaotic, and constantly jumping the shark. As such there's no real middle ground when it comes to this show, you either Love it or you Hate it. Personally I absolutely love it and recommend giving it a fair shake.
