Kinda wanna see a part 2 where the listener is part of a rescue/exploratory mission to figure out what exactly happened and if there are any survivors.
(Note: I am more or less referring to the same listener here as they are in active coms with the ground team, meaning they would have to be in close proximity due to the fact that a message from Mars to earth would take 15 minutes and a round trip would take 31, meaning there is likely a orbiting station with a secondary crew that could attempt a rescue)
...Now I want one of them to makeshift a gun out of maintenance tools...
