    You have become really good at hosting us aboard your new boats. Very enjoyable show. Just finished watching the Wynns present the Superyacht 8801 an amazing big red boat. That boat had full-size side-by-side refrigerators, an amazing boat.

    5-18-24. After watching Jason and Nikki's Wynn's vids taken at the HH factory and interviews with the Hakes management, ,staff and the construction artisans its clear that the HH engineering, and carbon fiber materials assemblies in their Catamarans is superior to all others. There there is the fact that that Wynns after years of considerable sailing experience and boat replacement investigation chose to buy Hull #3 of the initial HH44OC production. We have had an in depth video tour of the Wynns Cat and it is magnificent in every detail. The wiring was done so well that is is an absolute work of art and installed in such a manner as to be very accessable and marked for fast fault location and repairability. .

    Super dope move on that B&G lateral stack on the coach roof. If I had one of these, I'd probably love it so much that I wouldn't want to push her in pursuit of some regatta victory. Then again, I've never been a regatta guy, but I imagine the competition and camaraderie would have me pounding on the pied-à-terre a couple of times a year. lol

    That is a gorgeous boat. I rarely remember HH yachts but when I see them I'm always so impressed! The owner really expressed himself well with colors & carbon and the boat is very masculine in every respect. What is the displacement of this large 55? And, what can she carry additionally? Spacious with beautiful finish carpentry, I sense that weight may impact the performance polars and she carries a lot of windage to boot with the full cover. I wonder how she'd do in a Southern Ocean blow? I suspect the rigging is as robust as every other fitting seen but I'd love to see how lines landed about the boat and what would require leaving the safety of under cover in a squall. Quite a looker!

  • @tswrench
    @tswrench Před rokem +1

    Gorgeous! My dream Cat! I hope that the seat at the helm has a height adjustment, because what I think I saw with the overhead hatch/panel pulled shut was that significant headroom was lost causing the helmsman to bend at the neck in a seated position.

    I was going to ask why there is a hole below the main display, but figured out that is the place to mount a bag to catch the lines coming off the winches. Seems like a good idea.
    Love the hard top bimini and the integrated glass (or whatever) dodger. I wonder if the helmsman seat is adjustable up and down because when you closed the sliding hatch above the helm station, it looked like you had to tilt your head hard over to fit underneath it.
    I agree with the other commenters below, beautiful boat!

    Head clearance at helm station when sliding overhead cover is closed is ridiculously tight. You should be able to stand at the helm station with it closed but you wouldn't be able to do so with this design. Raise it another 6-12" and you'd be on point!
