what a game, i didn't know the video was going to be just this one game so i kept waiting for it to end around the 25 min mark. the macro style of moon you mentioned payed off as he just seemed to play for the late game from the start with just talons and fairy dragon to take long drawn out fights and even tho soin was kinda winning most engagements eventually he ran out of steam. very cool.
More like this please. It is great when you cast that you can break down the mechanics at play at any moment

Saw this yesterday on back2warcraft. If this is not the PERFECT example of imba elf vs orc... I don't know what to say. Early game hero got killed... revived from tavern (so lots of money spent... and wood), lower hero than enemy, yet he CAN mass expand!!!!!!!!!! and win in the end.

Gosh, as a WC3 veteran, i don't have time to play myself anymore. But i'm watching it like a football game, except that Grubby is so litterate calm and smart, I so wish he would comment sports on TV instead of the french commentators !
Now that was a *spectacular* game.
interesting to hear grubby say the sentry war on turtle rock shop is imbalanced. I have never heard anyone say that. I always enjoyed it as a critical advantage you can gain over your opponent in this map, but is not game breaking. Maybe at the highest level of competition it could be considered broken.

Komodo dragons definitely have venom but the idea that komodo dragons weaponize bacteria in their mouths against prey seems controversial. Seems to stem from conclusions drawn from a researcher 40 years ago who saw prey die from infection.

there is a way to realize what the illusions and the real hero, buy an orb (for ranged hero) and let him attack, if he does not attack orb, that is illusions

When I saw this video I was like "ah, almost an hour, it is a series then." Nope, it is one game. ONE GAME - and it is gorgeous.

at first i thought this was a bo3 or something because it was so long but no, they just hammered against each other with the same units all day long. I'd imagine a few disenchants could be good and some chims would rightly destroy those orc units... very strange.

Grounded talons always deal magic damage. It's only the crow form that does piercing damage
It really came down to gold control and would you believe there was no pillage for the raiders.

Does anyone think heroes should have the opportunity to pick more attribute points instead of upgrading an ability?
I think so, but it should be in a newer/modified RTS like warcraft 3. Since if you do that, you'll need to alter the playstyle of the game a bit. Why bother giving extra strength to Intelligence hero? (basically warcraft 4 lol)

Well yes I would say so. It's just going to be a 'whos gonna run out of Cyclone or Dispel first' kind of fight. If Soin had cast more Lightning shields/purges things would've looked very different imo

14:31 no, evasion does not stack in WC3 (hence why in Dota 2 for a while evasion didn't stack at all - it was supposed to work like Dota 1 where evasion didn't stack and at some point for Dota they needed to implement triggered evasion). This is straightforward to test in a custom map. I can guarantee you that evasion doesn't stack, just like the description says.
I had to create a simple custom to verify test it out, and indeed the evasion doesn't stack, for my 1.27b version at least. Grubby was wrong about this, or perhaps it used to stack, but Blizzard may have changed it at one point (quite possibly undocumented change too).
Blade dies in the end with invul pot. Obvious win trader lmao. Also why no orb on blade, seems like it would help versus the fairy dragons.

Not going for pillage is such a noob mistake, you see an army of ancient of wars? boom pillage, thats not something a pro orc fucks up. He for sure was bashing himself for that.
