      Masha'Allah, read this hadith:
Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (pbuh) said:
Whoever has three daughters and he accommodates them, show mercy toward them, and supports them, Paradise is definitely guaranteed for him.
Thus, someone asked the Prophet, what if they are two daughters only
He replied, “[He gets that reward,] even if they are [only] two.“

    Tazkiya steps:
    1) Understand it's a process, you want it, you take the necessary measures, remove the viruses
    2) Identify the problems ie anger, jealousy, backbiting ect. And what's causing it.
    3) Seek out righteous company, who's influence is good and strong on you.
    4) Learn ilm, learn more about Allah and our shortcomings will become more clear and iA easier to deal with.
    5) Mujahada/struggle. Ibn Qayyim RA: struggle for the 4:
    1- less talk
    2- less sleep
    3- less food
    4- less interaction with people
More dhikr, rememberace of Allah is one of the strongest cleaning agent of Tazkiya/purifying/cleaning of one's heart.
Keep going with this process, and Insha'Allah you will find more saakinah and find what you're missing in this Dunya.
    I paraphrased a little.

It was narrated by Yahya ibn Sa‘eed al-Ansaari. His version says: It was revealed in the Qur’an that ten definite breastfeedings are required (to establish the relationship of mahram), then it was also revealed that five definite breastfeedings are required.
This was narrated by Imam Muslim in his Saheeh (no. 1452) and others.
It was narrated by Imam Maalik (may Allah have mercy on him). His version says: Among that which was revealed of the Qur’an was the ruling that those ten definite breastfeedings are required to establish the relationship of mahram, then that was abrogated and replaced with five definite breastfeedings. When the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) died, this was among the things that were recited in the Qur’an.
It was narrated by Muhammad ibn Ishaaq. His version says: The verse of stoning and breastfeeding of an adult ten times was revealed, and it was written on a leaf that was kept beneath a bed in my [‘Aa’ishah’s] house. When the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) fell sick, we were preoccupied with his situation, and a little animal of ours came in and ate it.
This was narrated by Imam Ahmad in al-Musnad (43/343), and Ibn Maajah in as-Sunan (no. 1944); the latter version says: When the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) died, we were preoccupied with his death, and a tame sheep came in and ate it.
When Ibn Umar-son of the second Muslim caliph-heard people declaring that they knew the entire Qur’an, he said to them: “Let none of you say, ‘I have learned the whole of the Koran,’ for how does he know what the whole of it is, when much of it has disappeared? Let him rather say, ‘I have learned what is extant thereof
A’isha . . . said, “Surat al-Ahzab (xxxiii) used to be recited in the time of the Prophet with two hundred verses, but when Uthman wrote out the codices he was unable to procure more of it than there is in it today [ 73 verses].”
According to Aisha, the collectors simply couldn’t find all of Surah 33. Many huffaz were killed at the Battle of Yamamah. Apparently, no one who knew the entire chapter survived.

Qur'an openly states many times that Allah is the 'best deceiver'. The Arabic word used here is "ماكر" "maakir", coming from the root m-k-r م-ك-ر, with the word Makr "مكر" meaning deception. Makr Allahi
      the majority of Qur'anic translations erroneously translate this term;
ومكروا ومكر الله والله خير الماكرين
Wamakaroo wamakara Allahu waAllahu khayru almakireena
Literal: And they cheated/deceived and God cheated/deceived, and God (is) the best (of) the cheaters/deceivers.Qur'an 3:54
Qur'an 7:99 افامنوا مكر الله فلايامن مكر الله الا القوم الخاسرون
Afaaminoo makra Allahi fala ya/manu makra Allahi illa alqawmu alkhasiroona
Literal: Did they secure God's scheme/deceit ? So no(one) trusts God's scheme/deceit except the nation the losers
Qur'an 8:30 واذ يمكر بك الذين كفروا ليثبتوك او يقتلوك او يخرجوك ويمكرون ويمكر الله والله خير الماكرين
Wa-ith yamkuru bika allatheena kafaroo liyuthbitooka aw yaqtulooka aw yukhrijooka wayamkuroona wayamkuru Allahu waAllahu khayru almakireena
Literal: And when those who disbelieved deceive/scheme at you to affix/affirm you, or kill you, or bring you out, and they scheme/deceive , and God deceives/schemes and God (is) best (of) the deceivers/schemers.

I’m not even done with the video and I’m already crying. This weekend I kept asking Allah how love for the deen, going on to medical school, and InshaAllah being responsible for a family would work out. I’m so fearful that the time and energy and money spent will all be a waste, but if there’s anything I learned from this podcast it’s that I must trust in Allah.

A very humble advisor sister, Haafia. She is an amazing scholar, with a blessed amount of knowledge that she has gained all throughout her life alhamdulliah. A simple reminder to her is that we should make sure that our sister scholars are not present in front of non-mahram men. This is a problem as we know that the Quran and the sunnah tell us the believing women to cover, and not to be exposed in front of strange men. A humble request to her to make sure that she is not being recorded in front of anything and that she could only expose her voice. Jazakallah!

Memorising the Qur’an is generally useful if one can do it.
For the purpose of tazkiya/purification of nafs you just need to follow the dos and don’ts written in the Qur’an. You may use any translation, snd it will serve this purpose.
