    Super late comment, but thanks for the kind words about the knife. It was a labor of love to be sure. Also the OEM for it was Kubey, and they were fantastic throughout the process to work with.

    Not all gun branded knives are bad but, the bad ones are really bad!
    Anything Winchester licences is garbage. Browning is all budget stuff too but, every once in a while they release a decent knife.
    S&W is the absolute worst in materials and quality. The owners of the gun company do not own the rights to the knife company. Some of the merchandising rights were sold off by the former British owners. You’ll see their knives and guns branded together at Shot Show but, they are two separate entities.
    That said…..Hogue makes the Sig knife. Benchmade use to make H&K knives. And Ruger has had Case and CRKT make there knifes. If only the Ruger stuff was not all 8CR :(
