☆ A little art process video ☆

In an effort to make more videos and more casual videos, I decided to film the process for this simple painting. It started as just a little digital sketch, but I wanted an excuse to do more lineart with felt pens, so it became a traditional piece! Hope you like this video, even though it's got nothing much going on... Just... A little process video :3
☆ What was used:
- Arches hot pressed watercolor paper
- Uni NanoDia Erasable color lead, size 0.7 in RED
- Royal Talens Acrylic Ink
- Tachikawa G-Pen
- Holbein watercolors
- Craftamo Bamboo Watercolor brush, size 3
- Royal & Langnickel ZEN brushes, sizes 8 and 4
- White acrylic paint
- Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils

I haven't watched a traditional-art speedpaint in a long while, and this is so lovely! I didn't know how much I missed pens and watercolours, I tend to just sketch in graphite, maximum I'll use some marker, but light lines and watercolour is just so soft and calming. And such a cute drawing! I just love your style, and that girl is so pretty (: I'm obsessed with the eyelashes

there are so many things that make this painting so unique and lovely!
1. i adore the way u approach warm and cool tones with lighting! i feel like i dont usually see an overhead lighting with exaggerated temperatures like this and it gives the entire piece a very "snapshot" feel-- like this painting is has an entire backstory and context to it and has panels before and after. it makes it so interesting
2. the use of highlights!! idk why but i love how boldly you blocked in the highlights. i think i often see people be very delicate and sparing with white highlights so it was refreshing to see you go with such large intentional shapes
3. the hatching/finishing ink is so cool. i've been watching jojo's bizarre adventure a lot lately and it reminded me of the artstyle lol. because hatching in that style usually gives a painting/drawing more grittiness i really like how the hatching here contrasts with the more soft watercolor and objectively pretty subject matter.

I might be wrong, but are there any warm tones in this piece? Even the reds and the yellows are cool toned, right?
@@jyotasama the red and yellow is still warm toned they just added some blue on the warm tones

This is my first art process in yEaRsssSsS. But I really like the way it came out. Especially the light on the bridge of her nose. It’s literally glowing.

Recently started getting more interested in trying watercolor/ acrylic paints, and I was always wondering if I could combine a pencil sketch with the paint.

However I have recently decided that I would like to relocate in order to experience new things, both work and social related.
