I love these two messages so much, thank you. And yay for the Jeff Durbin/Apologia shout out. I don't always agree with him on everything, but I do love and respect that pastor.
This "big picture" teaching needs to be done on a regular basis in every church. It is what every new Christian needs. In fact, some older Christians may need it. I am shocked at how many people who've been in church for decades have never even read through the entire Bible. It's like they're experts on specific bits and pieces, but they don't know the whole story.
