Considering all the chances Adebayo had for Luton Town during this away game, this is going to be considered a very valuable point away from home as Preston could have won it in the last few minutes. You should have been 3 up by half-time! If you had won by 4 or 5 goals margin we couldn't have complained. Considering that like PNE you are up against sides subject to the Prem fixing the Championship with parachute payments every credit to you..and I wish you well in the play-offs if you make it. Unlikely but it would be good if you did...show that it can be done.

We should have been out-of-sight. We were the better team even when they had all their players on the pitch. It could be tired legs and maybe that's why RE rested a few. Surprised Drameh wasn't even named on the bench, but maybe he feels the need to rotate the squad as we are playing a lot of games at the moment. Big one on Saturday, so we need to be at the races.
Pelly got smashed because he was too busy pointing (as always) and then hesitated for a split second. Whiteman was unlucky IMHO. Luton should have come home with all 3 points anyhow.

Shocking penalty decision. Never a penalty. 4 points dropped against mediocre teams such as Coventry and PNE
Arm out at a right angle to his body and a distance from the player, hand stops the ball crossing.......as clear a cut penalty as ypu are likely to see. Where you actually watching this? I was..straight red as well.

@@clivelangman8696 i dont think it was a penalty. it was not intentional, and it was his natural movement with the arm, not deliberate. it was ball to hand rather than hand to ball.

You write that like its embarrassing. We lost 2-0 at home to Braintree in the non league not so long back. Play offs are fine. We should be confident if we are in the play offs.

Playing against 10 can be harder because they park-the-bus, which is exactly what happened. Once we scored, they had to come out and that's when they got a lucky penalty. Unless Lockyer runs around like a penguin, he has to swing his arms. Try running with your arms down by your side. The power of the cross hit his arm. More fluke than anything.
@@KebabMusicLtd I know where you're coming from Kebab and I do agree about parking the bus, just frustrated about scoring and losing a lead again. You see a lot of defenders doing the 'penguin' these days when in the box but Lockyer didn't have a chance of moving his arm out of the way, unintentional and should not have been given.

There's little chance of catching Sheff.Utd or Burnley so I hope we try out different tactics occasionally. Not concerned about our strikers not being at 100% right now. Hopefully they can peak in the play offs.
