Yea this was the only final mission I coukdn’t finish. Infact the final mission is how I rated each faction. The USA had the easiest. GLA was time consuming butt was fun. This one was just hell. Constant attacks and worrying about the goddamn scud. Then I came across someone saying just don’t get your money above 5k and it won’t launch. It saved my life.
One of the hardest mission is Generals. The only thing to see the hidden base of GLA is to: 1. Capture the GLA base in the 1st encounter. Then buy the radar van equipt with a scanner. 2. Or buy 4 migs (suicide) and flew it on the right side of the map until you reach on the top and scan every single inch.
Just beat this on Brutal, it was amazing. I took over the GLA Base, quickly built the Chinese base, dug in with a couple bunkers and some stinger sites. Then mostly focussing on GLA buildings, got a lot of black markets all around my base and on the lower level. Then, I got myself some MIGS, quickly scouted ahead to find the Scud Storm, and built two scuds of my own, destroyed theirs. Then I got myself a couple nukes, too, just for good measure. Nuked and scud stormed the lower base, and steamrolled in with 9 Overlords, 4 with speakers and 5 with gatlings. It was hellish, had to go to and back at all times, which was amazingly difficult. 9/10 that was such a hard mission, I loved it.
Just did it. For a lot of starting money start building command center immediately, take the money steal promotion and don't capture/destroy nearest GLA supply. Rushed propaganda center, got two more overlords and a transport carrier and carefully pushed in moving two overlords in front, two covering from behind and APC with two inferno cannons in the middle. After couple of tries I made it to the scud storm and just captured it. Also it doesn't fire if you don't have more than one building in target range anywhere on the map
I usually capture those GLA bases at the beginning. So I could use Radar Van to find SCUD location to nuke and artillery it up all at once. My strategy takes just 30 minutes to finish the game. just turn their weapons against them and we're done!
@@user-xb3nt1gl5y I did with with lvl 3 barrage and used the Radar Van to get the Scud Storm's location and build 2 nuke silo and 3 scud storms after destroying theirs. Sometimes playing defensively wins
this is the only Mission i havent completed when i was a kid I do remember that My Brother just clapped the GLA With no problem and no restarts When i played the mission I was like "Impossible" I didn't rage or anything i was a gentle and calm kid

I capture all their building first and use them against the GLA after building my command center, barracks and power station in the river first. This gives me the way to build 3 scud storms and kick some ass.
bloody hated this mission! I was wishing that the neutron shells upgrade from ZH so I could fire my nuke cannons and clog up that gap with unmanned vehicles!
While keeping the money below 5 thousand, use planes against the Scud launchers and rocket buggies, upgrade napalm weapons at the War Factory and Overlord speed at the Missile Silo, build 3 overlords, one with the propaganda tower and 2 with gatlings to deal with infantry. Also get those nuke cannons to keep the road to the base irradiated to keep the rocket buggies at bay. It's not perfect but it's very effective. Beyond that, how you get rid of the Scud storm is up to every individual .
Replay this in 2022 and it's so hard compared to my kid days managed to overcome the ego of wanna win fast. 1) Establish early defence at front line with 4 Nuke Cannon after all necessary building has built and command them fire the cannon at the specific spot. 2) Send two MiG squadron guard the air while continue building Overlords , personally I built 10 , 5 tower and 5 Gatling, send 8 to front line and 2 back up at left side of hill in case surprise attack. Add-on Gatling tank and Battle master as backup for Overlords stress. 3) Just continue struggling while laying all the land mine that can beat them up , build multiple nuclear missile silo while continue build more hackers and power plant. 4) send 6 Overlords , and Battlemaster and Gatling tank to clear the eastern side of the map , then head to western side of the supply zone , nuke the eastern GLA base , send them to kill all. Take the supply zone at the western side and oil derrick. 5) Keep pushing to two exit point nearby GLA base and standby , keep the MiG guard the air while building your asset. Keep on building more nuke missile and nuke the hell out. Send one suicide squadron of MiG to discover their base , nuke them constantly 6) as time goes by , Overlords and the rest are basically capable clear the way , depend on your choice , I personally pick western side of the hill and push forward , nuke the eastern side and keep them weak. If you have at least build 6 air base , send them for air cover for ground forces. Nuke when necessary. Keep pushing until the end. Not an easy game I bet among all.
fun fact: even when the scud storm reaches zero it will NOT fire as long your under 5k money over that and it will open fire also capture the g.l.a base and try using jarmen kell's ability to the scud launchers because you cannot make these launchers unless your the G.L.A general use jarmen on the scud launchers and cherish them losing them is not optimal
build bunkers filled with 5 tank hunters accompanied with gattling cannons and backing them up artillery units like inferno or nuke cannon so they will be the one that will counter the artillery unit attacks of GLA such as buggy and scud launchers or try to garrison some buildings
This mission is so hard, but i have an easy trick how to finish it. 1.don't Destroy GLA Base at the beginning. Capture it 2. you can see the civilian building(like a castle) with 5 Supply pile. 3.put atleast 5 RPG guys in the civillian building, its because all of your enemies units will attack your RPG guys in the civillian building(this is important to your mission) 4. You need 15 units(GLA units with overload) with no buildings near to them because the scud launcher will attack on your 15 Units, when the scud launcher attacks to your 15 units, move your 15 units away(its so very easy trick how to dodge scud launcher :D) 5.The Hackers are so important because when the supplies are exhausted, the hacker can make money(but be aware to the scud launcher when the scud launcher launch on them) This trick will finish the GLA Life :D
4 or 5 units of Inferno Canon shooting at a single point can make a firestorm. Same also with the Migs especially when they are equipped with higher grade of Napalm.
my strat here is to capture their mini base to obtain jarman kel and put him in an overlord tank to deal with infantry easy and 1 with propaganda and 1 with gatling it works everytime even in hard mode.. little trick here is dont let your money increase to 5k so they cannot launch their scud storm i dunno if its a bug or developer programed it on purpose.
Hit control it let's you attack a non target. It can be a useful defense. Especially against rocket buggies cuz they have longer range than defense buildings.
I only had two overlords and Jarmin Kell defending my base for 30 mins and established economy after I got the SCUD Storm and then launched a full-scale attack on to their base.
believe me, set the difficulty to brutal and feel the most hardest mission in command conquer generals story line just comparison - gla 7 at least has oil derrick near the supply dock - usa 7 already has supply drop zone and chinese ally
This is the hardest mission in Command and Conquer. Hint also is to capture the GLA Technology and try to build blackmarkets so that you can secure your resources or try to train a horde of hackers but be sure they are safe from the wrath of scud Storm
I keep seeing comments saying that you should keep your money under $5000. Was that really necessary to complete the mission? When I was a kid, I just spammed hackers and blackmarkets. I remember that this mission was hard but not really enough to make me lose.
This level is very challenging.. I have been playing this game for over 10 years now!! and still only beat level 7 Playing China I think one time! I am there again now, and have been pissed off for a week every day trying to beat this shit coming at me! There isn't enough time to build a nuke, and not enough artillery to build fast enough to take out the enemy missiles and those annoying mobs they send. I'm still trying to build a nuke before they kill me!! but by the time I get one built the timer never get to allow me to launch it at them before they bombard me to death.
I did this as well but instead of two I used 5 let’s just say it became nuke valley I counter attack with 80 red guard units and about 60 battle masters lost all my infantry to scud launchers :(

I play it, just now and i just use 3 nukes and 12 MIG jets to defeat the gla but now they launch their scud storm 2× in my command center because my tanks are in that position but i 🤣🤣🤣 laughed so hard because no one of my tanks are destroyed by scud storm, but my command center is damaged not so hard, then i repair it when the anthrax cloud is gone, i finished the china M7 3 times the first time i finished it my father shocked 😅😅, and thanks to him because he teached me how to play c&c generals when i was 9 years old, and sometimes he is playing generals when he is not busy i really shocked when he try to fight 6 brutal army with only one comrade, and he defeated them all😯😯😯 im tired of using overlord tanks because even if you upgrade them with nuclear tanks their so slow that's why i used MIG'S
Hehe i play it yesterday but daddy accidentally turn off the laptop, i didn't save the game so i need to play it again But, china M7 is easy to me because yesterday GLA doesn't launch their scud storm cuz they can't find a good place to launch it, until i destroyed their Scud Sto. Using artillery barrage 😆😅😅

打法有很多种，说下我的打法吧（我玩的是brutal难度）：
1.第一波摧毁敌方小基地时，battle mastertank，火箭兵以及加特林坦克，这三个用来挡GLA第一波进攻（6-10辆Scorpion坦克，4-6辆火箭吉普车），哪怕全部损失都无所谓；最重要一定保留2个overlord tank，2个dragon tank以及2个远程火炮，用来守家。
2.速度建好所有建筑，出Propaganda Centre以及优先出核弹中心，然后出尽可能多的黑客（赚钱的关键）。飞机场建一个，用3-4架飞机把GLA的SCUD找出来（大概在地图最上方的中间）。等核弹和火炮轰炸好了，一起炸SCUD(如果没炸爆就用飞机补刀）。接下来就是漫长的发育时间。
3.守家的话，2个overlordtank，一个speaker tower回血，另一个出加特林炮扫步兵。前期没钱用远程火炮，ctrl+右键，强制攻击守家正前方，会有很多GLA送死。等有钱了出4-5个核加农，强制攻击守家正前方，基本无缝杀死所有GLA除了SCUD lanucher。SCUD lanucher大概每隔3分钟来一个，用空军消灭即可。
4.接下来的半个多少时，就是不停造核弹，飞机场，用飞机，核弹以及炮兵轰炸，一个一个GLA建筑敲掉，即可完成此任务

Nuke Cannon is very effective at defending. Only 2 and a Mig squad is enough to stop their waves

4 or 5 units of Inferno Canon shooting at a single point can make a firestorm. Same also with the Migs especially when they are equipped with higher grade of Napalm.

I took 4 hours to beat this mission.
I play China and i made to there and i play then i cant figure out how to finish that mission
using nuke canons instead of inferno is much more usefull. 2 of them gets You rid of 80% of their forces in the front.
