A1’s are really great cars, more a polo size car and an A3 is Golf size, I have to say that although a Golf is a very good car, i don’t think they are as good as they used to be

Which would you suggest? BMW 1 series 116i or Audi A1 S Line?

I prefer the Audi A1, but I would suggest that you have a drive in both cars yourself, also it depends on what year the car is an what engine it has, as the early Bmw 1 series had problems with the timing chain which can cause catastrophic failure and be very costly to insure

Barrie Crampton I’ve been looking at 1.6 BMW & either 1.4 or 1.6 for Audi.. both 2012-2015 models I’ve been looking at

Insurance starts off more on the BM but will go down years after every year no claims I get but the A1 are more expensive than the 116i
