I always thought it was funny they used an animation error, in which Bluestreak is colored like Prowl, to justify him having shoulder launchers, that he never actually had! In that same picture, Trailbreaker's hand is also mis-colored! But really, no G1 episode was without two or three handfuls of errors, it was an 80s cartoon after all, but that just makes it more entertaining to watch as an adult in my opinion. Who likes to play "spot the error" with their favorite shows? ✋

@@DJDroz-tz4qc perhaps. But im thinking of if you saw movie Ironhide for the first time and didnt knew his name, what would you call him? Who is he most likely based on? But one thing those movies had over G1 was they looked the same all troughout without misscoloring. But soo much grey/silverish!
I miss the old days when he would scale the figures against MP-10 Prime and also with the old table. New table still looks great though even he's had it for a while. Plus I love the more cartoon versions of the masterpieces

I find it kinda funny that while Prowl shows up in a US cartoon show and has POLICE written on the side, the color scheme is actually based on Japanese police cars.

Thats why for instance the insecticons has cockpits although nobody drives them. Transformers originals came from 86 movie and onwards like Predaking, but another show used similar style like that combiner, you might have heard of them they are called Power Rangers in the west. But of course in every rule theres exceptions, like Ultra Magnus. Watch old commercials of Dicalone and you will see that despite the inner bot being a white Optimus, the commercial around 1975 for Diaclone had Ultra Magnus arriving in car carrier mode and then transform, long before Transformers were a thing.
i wonder if Emgo is actually going to review what was intended to be Siege Unicron but may end up being an Earthrise Unicron instead. (in my defense the toy that is to be released sometime soon is probably going to be renamed as an Earthrise figure instead of Siege mostly due to timing and such)

The plus line pay more for less. But i got the ko wheeljack that was okay apart from shoulders not locking in . Untill i watched a rocket punch army vudeo rhat showed the simple fix now its rock solid and absolutely awesome figure . Its almost perfect in fact

I like the cartoon look better but also like the realistic look too. Don't see enough difference between this and the original to justify switching but that MP44 is so tight looking...

Hello Emgo, I was wondering if you had any suggestions on how to tighten the joints on the hmshoulder cannons for mp-17 prowel as well as his arms they are very loose on my copy.
I've got the mp-18+ and for some reason I can't get the snap point for the torso to lock I've followed the instructions and any reviews for the figure but can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any help ?

I know this is a minor detail, but I have never seen a car with the sideview mirrors so far ahead of the doors. Those things are almost clearing the front wheels.

I like my MP-34S. The alt colors can be really neat. The show-accurate colorations are a very enjoyable nostalgia trip though.

I prefer the nice balance between cartoon and G1 toy design that the original has, but I don't own either of them so I'd take either, really.
You know, I like the more cartoon accurate looks (except for Bee) because this to me is what Masterpiece is supposed to be… which is screen accurate

Unicron was never part of Siege, he was always branded as WFC Unicron only.
