For correction, all these songs are super hit in Pakistan. 10-15 years after jab chappa jata hai to obviously technology advancement aur music quality differs.
For the record, there isn’t any financial compensation or rights involved in these copies - which is why we call them copies. Only Mahesh Bhatt (post Gangster, that song was still without permission) has gone through the right channels to acquire rights and, later, Karan Johar with Pretty Woman, Disco Deewane and Samjhawan.
This is why we get upset. A little footnote at the very end of a CZcams description doesn’t really count as “credit.”

By the way Hawa Hawa album was too much famous in Pakistan and its all songs videos were picturized in India in Hassan Jahangir's own voice obviously with an Indian model/actor because of its popularity. Same goes to other songs like Hadiqa Kayani's Boohay Baariyan, the most famous song of its time. India kept copying Pakistani songs right from the beginning till now without giving credit to the original singers or composers.

Almost ALL of them are hit songs in Pakistan and its clear theft of intellectual property because we do not recognize each others laws.
To my knowledge, Indians are not getting the copy rights from the original talent from Pakistan, because of the following reasons: First, for Pakistan there is no law or system to file law suites in India. Secondly, if they buy the legal rights, then they have to pay money and they don't want to. Why should they if they can get away with it for free. It is not just Annu Malik, there are others like, Pretam, Viju Shah, and others. There is an interview by Nusrat Fateh Ali saying about the copy. I think now there should be a legal system set up between India and Pakistan, to apply the copy right laws.

About Hawa Hawa, it is not composed by Hassan Jahangir, it's originally Iranian, recorded in 1973 I think under the name "Havar Havar", the same music by Kourush Yaghmaei, before him by another artist (Yadollahi? I forgot), and most probably derived from the Bandari folk tune. I listened to it on Coke Studio, immediately recognized the typical Iranian rhythm, made my research. And no, I am not Iranian.

This comment is to tell you that all these songs that you have listened to in this video are top notch hits of pakistani music industry of their times. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan I mean who doesn't knows him, all his songs are on another level which even makes a person who doesn't understand, stand up and dance on his/her feet. Rashma G one of the legendary stars of pakistan. Fakhir and Hadiqqa Kiyanni are one of the most early pakistani pop singers. And if these songs where not a top notch hit in Pakistan no one would have know from this young generation in pakistan and no one would have made this video of total CHAPAAS.
Jubin's whole career is built on remakes of old Pakistani songs and he never gives credit to the original. So very unprofessional of him
