Bro, Transformers cybertron was my childhood, seeing TR-02 Nail the look, feel, and proportions of Cybertron Prime is so amazing, really brings out the inner 7 year old within me
That shot with all the Unicron Trilogy Primes looks so good.
As far as I remember the original Cybertron Prime was a near perfect release. Easily the best, and well realized of the Armadaverse releases, and will always be Gundam Prime with all the ridiculously large rail guns, and pew pew missiles. Really cool seeing all the comparisons, and Wing Saber add on as well. The third party release looks amazing, improves a lot, and does the original design absolute justice. The Hasbro Siege release not so much, which is understandable as I believe it's only a retooled Ultra Magnus from the same line.
It was a pretool for Magnus was in general its not the best, thou I say it's good for those who never got the original figure as that is the most unusual of the Unicron trilogy Primes with his alt mode, I believe back in the day a lot of fans were confused to exactly what kind of truck he was meant to be thou he some sort of hybrid between a military vehicle and a fire truck, but then the Energon is a sort of Cybertron truck in design! Anyway this third party Op clearly captures the original toy and adds a few twists to make it difficult!!
@@superomegaprimemk2 Fair enough as it gives a decent/affordable compromise to the original. Just going add the firetruck gimmick was attempted much earlier for the original Robots in Disguise run, and later in Animated. Also the design for pretooled Magnus also originated in RID though I think Powers of the Primes also borrowed from that design.
@@coffeeinhandproductions3238 Power of the Primes Optimus doesn't borrow from any previous combine forming that I'm aware of as it's slide in and he locks into place thou at the time I thought that mold could of been retooled into Star Saber from Victory, well the trailer side of things anyway but it never happened and the only major retool of that mold is Star Convoy
I still have my cybertron Prime somewhere. Definitely the best!
TR-02 Looks like a genuine masterpiece release where the prior FT versions only just resemble their Optimus counterparts. I love it, but... I'd really need a Master Megatron to go with it.

@@TheatreJosh24601 Oh my gosh. Can you guys imagine Optimus actually combining with Leobreaker and Wing Saber at the same time?! Man! With the Sonic Wing and Savage Claw modes that Optimus would have made him nearly unstoppable!
Wow! TR-02 uses almost the same exact transformation that the original takara did. Great comparison.
What I find interesting is the straps on the backpack don't go around the shoulders like the original leader class Cybertron 2005 Optimus . Instead the backpack hinges over the top and front of the shoulders like the hybrid style Galaxy Convoy did.
In terms of accuracy to the show:
The OG toy because believe it or not the CGI models were the CAD designs used for the manufacturing of the toys.
Yup which is why for this particular Galaxy Force / Cybertron lineup, the transformers were mostly modeled after their toy design. Hence why even most of their transformation translates soo well into their toys and still accurate with the show
More characters from cybertron should be made, like megatron, scourge, etc.
If there's one _Cybertron_ figure desperately in need of an update, it's Scourge, with Leobreaker at a very close second.
@@TheatreJosh24601 they did remake it as rid predaking lol jk. Scourge's cryotek repaint was incredible.
optimus as a firetruck works really well, i wish more adaptations looked more into it.

Fun fact; the first ever Transformer figure I gotten was the 2005 Legion Class Cybertron Optimus Prime, so you could say that I've been an Optimus Prime fan ever since I was born
While the TR-02 is a Great Update to Galaxy Convoy/UT Cybertron Optimus Prime, I would've preferred it to look a bit more Bulky than the Original one.
Also, I prefer more the Original Trailer of Galaxy Convoy than the TR-02. I mean the Og Trailer in makes Jet Mode look better while the one from TR-02 makes the Canons look unnecessarily long.

3rd party KO was nice but too lanky and long. The WFC was a good attempt but falls short in every way. The original might be clunky but it does everything so nicely, plus that sonic bomber combo. Glad I have the original.

@@ReyRey277 the Optimus that was shown ,the Cybertron version isn't as good as the other versions,I actually owned the Cybertron prime before buying one of the big convoys, my point is that Hasbro literally saw the other primes then decided to sell us the dumbed down version with barely any articulation. That's my point . Idk what your inferring by asking was I ok but as a toy collector I'd rather pay for something that's cartoon accurate and has lots of articulation.

Imma cry... It's so good i feel like I'm 7 again when the original came out and it has die cast metal???? I was in already but m8 I'm all in now two things i can live without is that how like his boots are small ish but he makes for in size really and articulation and the like double hinge thing for the rail guns lil extra. But the face part.... Mmmm well ok i suppose i was hoping for a ball joint there but still better than nothing i suppose
Still top figure for Galaxy Convoy are the TR02 , GC GALAXYCONVOY, and HYPER GALAXY CONVOY the most disappointing is the siege not even close to a good figure

I'm actually like super excited i can't contain myself on how awesome it will be i was actually thinking of somehow making new parts for articulated hands on the original and well i won't like a PG Gundam hands are really close to like his giant muppet hands on the original i have the PG red frame to test it but i have no idea on how to attach it even it's just a simple ball peg on the hand of the Gundam. Oh i have Megatron and well like 1/100 scale hand kinda fit for him too??? But like very forced tho a little on the small side but look pretty good too tho

I still have the original Leojack/Leobreaker when Cybertron/Galaxy Force still aired, do you think I'll be able to combine him with the new Optimus/Convoy? Or should I try to find the original version?
It is unlikely. The space where the TR02's arms plug in could be big enough to accommodate Leobreaker but it's not certain. You don't want to force him in and damage such an expensive figure. The original one is very rare and expensive, easily costing several hundred dollars in the aftermarket. I have leobreaker but not prime also. I was broke when cybertron was released. I don't find the savage claw mode very convincing at all, so I am not too disappointed.

@@main.ignisha After more research i determined it is not big enough. Original has a square shaped, spring loaded slot. TR02 has a + shaped molded slot. It will not hold onto leobreaker with any security.

After rewatching reviews of galaxy convoy, I realized it had flaws I never remembered in my nostalgia trip. The wings do not tab securely in truck mode. The wings are very floppy on some figures. Outward arm movement is very limited because shoulder pads don't move. The crotch panel gets in the way of legs a lot. Super mode makes him very back heavy and prone to falling over. Was it excellent for its time? Is it still a very large and robust figure? Of course, but the TR02 makes major improvements more fitting of a modern masterpiece figure. It has big shoes to fill and I really hope it isn't plagued with QC issues on release.
Wow, my Unicron Trilogy childhood couldn't atleast have one day without any terrible criticism like this for once couldn't it? :/

I got one wingsaber from Facebook market in my country very cheap … the person doesn’t collect it …. Almost complete, both misiles but one was chew 😂 left with one blade, the key, and the manual, but wow its really a pice of art the combination @.@ I send to 3D print the remaining parts in the ends it’s a win 🏆

I don't see anyway of removing his arm or hiding it in the back of super mode for a chance of a future savage claw mode though ☹️
Savage claw mode was nothing to write home about when it was first released. It had no real hands and made optimus extremely heavy. Sonic bomber mode was heavy too but being centered on the back and adding more mass to the feet helps.

@@meanmachine6328 Hmmm, that would be a very ambitious project but i don't see how it's possible. When i get the TR02 in my hands eventually i could see how it could work. Right now sonic bomber seems more feasible. I'd be welcome to be proven wrong.
@@meanmachine6328 Looking at it more carefully, there are spaces where it looks like alternative arms can fit into but the backpack of super mode is not big enough to accommodate folding one arm back when the original toy was. If they were to release leobreaker they cannot use super mode at the same time or need to release a larger backpack.

Well he's supposed to be based on the Cybertron/Galaxy Force anime of Transformers which that I'm glad that I grew up with along with the 2007 movie and Animated to begin with, what did you expect? lol.
