I've heard so many women trying to keep their marriage despite the abuse on their children. our generation needs to stop putting men on the pedestal and help the women and children.
Lady if he can't even love his own kids, how do you expect him to love your kids. Let that sink in to all hmong women that are looking to remarry.
Remarrying is ok but better to wait for the kids to grow up and go off on their own first. Kids are not going to live with parents
forever so once they leave, you can go find a companion that also has no dependent.
I agreed with you but it's not this mom's fault that her new husband act like this. But yes, all moms and dads should be more careful with step dads and step moms.

Just to be fair, I’ve seen step mother(s) too. We all should be responsible parents to defend our kids from harm, that’s why the law says we are in a position of trust. If, we do not do what we are entrusted, then we have FAILED our purpose as a parent.
Easy, just don’t remarry until all your kids are over 18 and move out.
I have trust issues. I don't trust NOBODY with my kids. Always listen to your kids, people!
She doesn't deserve her child. She couldn't even protect her child. When her son asked if she chooses her husband or her kids, she couldn't decide. That right there shows that she does not deserve her. If you love your kids, they come first! If you want to protect your child, you will choose your child with NO hesitation. Locking up her husband after her child died won't bring her child back. What good will it do now? Should've done that way before she passed. Please let this child get reborn into a loving family, with loving parents who can protect her.

Agreed! It all happened so fast and she is seeking justice for her although her daughter have left this world.
As women who is divorced with kids, always remember, hmong men cannot love our children as theirs. Hmong men's heart is not big enough to open and love other people's kid. Even if you cannot have a husband, remember you won't die. Only about 20% or less hmong men can love kids that is not theirs.
After listening to many of these stories, I would have to say not all Hmong men are like that. Even Hmong women cannot love others’ kids.

I’m a dad. A parent’s job is to defend your children and spouse. If my spouse is ABUSING my child/children, the spouse needs to be CORRECTED. It should NOT be a choice between spouse and children. If a parent thinks there us a choice than you FAILED as a parent.

This story is so sad. It takes a life for the mother to see how much her kids are worth to her. If it was not for her son, she would probably still be with the dead beat 2nd husband of hers.

This story is similar to mine but luckily my daughter grew out of heart problem after she turned 1 years old. I divorced her dad when she was 6 years old and now she is the smartest of my 4 kids. Now, she received her BSN and working as a nurse. Thanks god for everything. I felt this lady’s pain and very sorry for her lost.

This is a perfect example of original marriage nothing but like dog and cat. But once divorce and remarried, each went obey the new spouse like a dog begging for a bone and whose hurting, the kids. Am I the only one who think her ex husband is at fault too? He could’ve taken the daughter back when she wanted to stay with him and yet he don’t want her! How freaking sad is this? And when she died the father cried as if he did all he could? So stupid! Of course her husband deserves some jail time for abusing the daughter! I feel so sorry for this little girl! I’m also a mom too, whenever my baby daddy yell at our kids I already get angry at him! No way will I ever let anyone touch my children this way!
This story is very sad but I'm not going to blame this women or shame her because none of this is her fault. She has nothing to do with the action of another grown man or a dead beat ex husband. She found out and try to do something and from the story, sounds like everything happened so fast right after the kid speak up. She been through enough and we all don't need to point finger at her like she allowed all that to happen.

This kind of story pisses me off! This is why people should not bring children into this world if they know their relationship/marriage is rocky. Why you should not date/remarry until your kids are adults or can fend for themselves! When you chose to bring a life into the world, you need to make sacrifices for them! Too often kids are abused and killed by the mom/dad's boyfriend/girlfriend! Look up the stats!
