I just lowered my methadone dose for the first time… on the anniversary of this song’s release. I couldn’t have achieved sobriety without it.

I know MCR will never see this, but if there was one thing I could let them know, I’d want them to know: my best friend Erika took her life 4 years ago and she and I were some of the most obnoxious MCR fans on the planet. It broke our hearts when we heard that the band broke up. Before COVID, I got tickets to honor her and get that experience that she and I never got. She would be losing her mind over all of this right now. It’s so bittersweet, but I’m glad to see them back again.

Holy shit. After years and years of waiting for MCR to put out a new song, the expectations were high and these guys knocked it far and above out of the park. The sound is new, and yet somehow stays so true to their roots. If all that happened with MCR -- the sudden break-up, the shocking reunion, the YEARS of delayed tour dates -- had to happen just so that we could get this song, all of it was worth it. I had NO IDEA new music was coming out. I became a fan just a couple years after they broke up, so I thought I would NEVER experience the release of new music. I thought this was going to be a concert teaser when I clicked on it. I NEARLY CRIED WHEN I REALIZED IT WASN'T.

as someone who started listening to MCR after they had split up this is actually a dream come true. i always wished i could’ve heard a song from them close to when it came out and now here i am, listening to one an hour after it’s release. i love it and love them so much..

If anything, I think these guys, somehow, improved, and they have evolved just enough to both sound relevant and modern while still keeping in tune with themselves as to be, well, the way only My Chemical Romance can be.

this song is unbelievably good. It's addictive. The riffs are so catchy, the lyrics are so well written and it just sparks a certain feeling, this song. These guys are certainly talented. I adore their work.

I'm 49 and I'm so happy I introduced my kids to them as well. No matter your age, their art and talent affects us who get it. Finding them when they first appeared and even now resulted in lots of teasing which, of course never bothered me. Because why would anyone feel badly about loving such incredible music and art!??! Always have and ways will. MCR will always be my favorite band.

This comment is looong overdue, but I was just wanna say that the visualizer for this video is F'ING AWESOME, I LOVE the way the footage's speed and lighting matches in time with how soft or hard the song is getting. This is how song visualizers should be, not just STATIC images with looping particle effects.
Also, it took me TOO LONG to realize that the wriggling stuff are a bajillion FLIES, how tf did the visualizer guy (Aaron Hymes) even film this. Just fire.

Got absolutely no where else to write this but I vividly remember how on October 31st 2019 they announced their comeback and how much I had to resist the urge to scream at the top of my lungs. I was a sophomore in high school and I'm now a sophomore in college. I love this band with my whole heart. Please release the album I think about this at least once a day 😭

My first album I ever bought by them was around 2016ish (The Black Parade) and I was sad that at the time they were broken up. I'm right here with you in that feeling🖤

Never gonna stop loving mcr, I’ll never be more grateful to a group of people. They got me through the past 2 years of my life and continue to help day by day when it feels like I have nothing left. I’ll never forget crying and feeling like there was no way out and then putting on MCR or watching one of their old interviews and remembering how to smile, Gerard’s own struggle with suicide drugs and mental health is so similar to mine and seeing how far he’s come and how he can make this amazing musical comeback gives me hope too. I want to get all these beautiful lyrics tattooed on my soul. When I finally saw MCR after years of believing I wouldn’t, it was the happiest night of my life. Hearing this live filled a hole in my heart that I hadn’t even known existed. It was such a beautiful show and I felt so empty yet so whole when it was over. Remembering my show and how happy I felt gave me strength these past hard 6 months since I’ve seen them. I’ll never be able to fully express how grateful I am to MCR, how they’ve saved my life, and even though at the end of the day they are just 4 ordinary guys from New Jersey they don’t understand the impact they’ve had on so many lost kids who are just looking for something to call home, something to comfort them when life gets hard. Even though I’ve now outgrown mcr a bit they’ll always have such a special place in my life. It’s been almost a year since this life changing song was released but not a day goes by where I don’t think of it. Here’s hoping they’ll make a new album soon.
