I have an 8x8 drag harrow. Its awesome but the 3pt framed models are really the way to go.

Interesting.I bought a Winton flail mower from FTS ,and very happy with it.I use it with a Yanmar twin cylinder tractor on my friends 26acre property.Very heavy land ,moles, rushes ,like your land.
Nice, we have a Winton rotary topper to use very soon and then later in the year we will be using a winton flail. Great company to deal with.

Cháin Harrow works better l find when you go a bit faster. The tines will bob up and down more and do a better job levelling ruts

Yeah you can turn the chain mats around and give a more aggressive finish, but it would also probably stall the tractor as it would be like an anchor. Completely agree a larger set on with horse power in front of them would do an even better job.
Nothing beats working in your tractor you always come away with a big happy head on you 😂 on till a certain young man finds out you are driving his tractor 🚜😂😂

if i was you mate, i would not waste my time harrowing or anything on that field.
the only thing that will fix the problem you have 100% is plowing it all under at a 16 inches, get it leveled and reseeded with the grass mix you want.
Yeah we could plough it and start again, but to be fair the grass that is there is pretty decent. Once we spray off the weed it will be good enough for whatever need. We’re not intensive farming.
Spraying,I hope not another glyphosate user,that stuff has to be stopped.
