Then there was the American T-28... So this show had 3 tanks that were able to wipe a tank crew off the face of the Earth.....

yeah they really had to set up the last tank being spotted first, because it had tropical camo, + yellow vertical stripes. it was a much brighter target in a fog filled, overcast day. you see the day clearing up soon after they start backing up. Fun fact! Petersons tank was also 76mm.@@huntert9135
@@cr90captain89probably not still because a common misconception is that the normal m4 sherman’s 75 millimeter gun can’t penetrate the tiger I on its front plate or its sides. it actually can. the british cromwell tank had a 75 cannon that was slightly better than the m4 sherman’s and yet, at a close enough range, it can split the tiger in two through its front plate. the same is found with the american 75. the 76 long barrel was the most effective at dealing with tigers because it allowed for greater penetration at a longer range so you didn’t need to get as close to the tiger to penetrate its armor but it is very possible for a normal m4 sherman to get close enough to a tiger to do that; especially in this scene since the m4 has a gyro stabilizer that makes it far more accurate when shooting on the move while the tiger does not. in reality, if an actual tiger vs. m4s battle happened like this, with both moving towards each other, the m4s would absolutely wreck the tiger.

this movie is good but all the tactics used by the German tank crew during the 2nd world war were overturned by the hollywoobs, the M4 should have been the first one, then the last one, and moreover the tank tiger is having the advantage of hiding in the bushes there is no reason why they have to move out that makes them lose their advantage and one more thing the leading M4 is equipped with a 76mm smoothbore cannon with equipping that cannon was enough to make them the first target to be shot, but in the movie it was completely ignored until all the other 3 M4s were annihilated. I guarantee that any former WWII tankman who sees this film will be furious with the director who made the film.
Also one thing the tiger they fought some how only had three crew and there's only one tiger which is odd because tigers would always be operating in brigade consist of 3-4 tanks if not they will always be supported by ground troops seeing that lone tiger sitting there was really odd

The Tiger had a standardized 88mm KwK which was so effective it was still used in the ausführung B version, Königs Tiger, the Tank itself had many problems but due to its high armor , once it was on the field it took T34 and M4 shermans apart like scrap metal, so its both the tank and the gun that are why this tank is the most known of all WW2 tanks

Britain was a hodgepodge of weird ideas, & the French........ were the French. everybody had problems, its a miracle that Germany was producing Tigers early in the war while everyone else was getting their sh-t together. if a tiger was rebuilt using modern electronic equipment, ammunition & metallurgy techniques, it would once again become the king of tanks. no need for 120mm cannons when an 88mm with the right ammo can deliver the same result for cheaper. (less weight means a more maneuverable tank, which means faster speed/ time to get out of enemy fire)
