Alex's recommendation for episode 25 is Shallow Grave (1994) - Zábava
Funny how Alex seems the most positive of movies when his channel is called I Hate Everything.
A spec of dust and it’s also fitting that the person with the least popular views of films is your movie sucks
Because the other 2 are haters
He's the most normie of the three, which is easy to forget due to his exotic accent. Fucker got me to watch Mission Impossible Fallout and I will never forgive him for that.
Sometimes Alex is not literally more from hating something.

Alex sounds like he's embarrassed to have fun
well he's british and not allowed to emote
Watch JAR, lol.

He's only British.
Your Spongebob intro will always be the most epic.
which episode?
It was so satisfying to watch Alex completely Fanboy over Spiderverse, when in a previous episode, he was just saying ‘Eh, that might be good.’
Adam is Ralph’s lover
That moment when the Limey is the only straight one...
Nah. He's just a girl who says that Ralph is the one.
Just once, I want Adum to introduce the podcast with "Sardonicast is the most disappointing thing since my son."
Imagine if RedLetterMedia copyright claimed this video
Phil Michaels That would be too honest
Phil Michaels please!?
Omg that would be amazing I hope they see this. PLEASE!
And then he throws a bottle across the room
The director of Amadeus, Milos Forman, died this April, 13th 2018. Rest in peace.

Saw Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse a few weeks ago. I was completely blown away by it, loved it so much. Not only is it one the best superhero movies I've seen, but it's also in my top 10 animated movies. It's just that good.

hurts a bit to hear alex call spider-ham's VA the guy from big mouth... john mulaney is incredible dude, good casting for the movie + great comedian
Yeah, I wish Alex knew him for his stand-up.
Wind O'Death lmao imagine calling people soy boys in 2019. ironically the people who do that are the ultimate betas
@Wind O'Death fucking epic.
Wind O'Death soy dosnt even affect anything about you anyway, your comment makes no sense pathetic arsehole
While I agree john mulaney is hilarious and I love his stand up, he is also instrumental to the production of the trainwreck show big mouth. So while I love his comedy and hopes he has success for his whole career off it, he kinda deserves to be drag through the mud a bit for big mouth.

Damn Spider man into the spiderverse is my favorite movie of the year, so glad to see my favorite people talking about it. I liked your new film Lover a lot Ralph, you really inspired me!
Adam lowkey didn't like Lover.
When does Adam ever like anything?
Nothing low key about it, Ralph just can’t hear criticism.
I didn't get that impression, I think he openly stated "I enjoyed it, but I can tell it was from a film student" which isn't an insult, it just is what it is.
No, he actually said “knowing it was a student project, made in a year, for no money, I enjoyed it.” Which is a really nice way of saying it’s trash.
Yeah on the inside he would've given it a 6/10
That's where you're wrong, Ralph. Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut" is the best Christmas movie.
You know what’s funny, Incredibles 2 is gonna win best animated film over spider lad because of course it will
Oof
Also win over isle of dogs
Haloween 2018 deserves an award for boring me to tears. I have brain damage from a car accident, so that is hard to do.
Harold I think you responded to the wrong comment dude
The judges always pick Pixar
Who would have thought that the same studio that made one of the absolute worst movies imaginable with The Emoji Movie, would also make one of the best animated films recently with Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse?
If Sony keeps making better decisions like that, then they wouldn't be as laughable as they are right now.
Don't worry Sony made a horrible movie with Holmes and Watson so it balances out
@@devilsummoner2163 Ahh yes. Holmes & Watson. A movie so bad that Sony considered moving the film to Netflix so that it won't bomb at the box office.
Seriously. They actually tried doing that.
Test audiences hated the film, and Sony didn't succeed in making a deal with Netflix. You know your film is so terrible when even *NETFLIX THEMSELVES* says no to it.
@@michaelstrong5383 it was literally the worst $8 I've ever spent
Have you heard of open season?
@@sobobafett7860 To me, Open Season was just another mediocre animated film. I didn't think it was close to being so insulting as the Emoji Movie was.
never thought that i'd hear alex say "epic", but i guess there's always a first for everything
He says it very frequently on the JARcast
He says it too much
He's exactly the kind of person I'd expect to say epic
He said it when adam asked what he thought of Shaolin soccer.

Best podcast of 2018, thanks for ending this year on a good note.
Jaime Winchester nice pun
Thank you guys for acknowledging sound design for being one of the most important thing in film! As an aspiring sound designer it makes me feel really appreciated
Thanks for the New Year’s present, fellas!
So proud of Ralph for making such a great movie
Maj2017
do you miss your brother kyle?
Nah, he was a *butthead*
no u
So glad you guys got to enjoy Amadeus! It's a movie I can always go back to. It's a feeling I think all creators can relate to... being incredibly hard working but just not talented enough to reach the level we want. And when we see someone with that talent we crave it can really plant seeds of jealousy and resentment. Beautifully tragic.
What better way to end 2018 than to listen to the best movie podcast ever?
You guys are awesome!
I’m so glad I listened to this episode and you guys talked about Amadeus because I just finished it and was in love. Time to binge Mozart’s music :,)
Check out his operas. Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, and Magic Flute are his best works
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is probably my favourite Movie of 2018.
Same here, the animation was *beautiful*
It' my second favourite. My #1 is Isle of Dogs
Same
Mine is Roma.
Extinction Animation Isle of Dogs isn’t as good tbh.
Amadeus is one of my all time favorite movies, I really appreciate that the guys are talking about it in depth.
Madagascar 4: Sardonigascar.
Would it be as good as CHiPS?
man i love you guys. you guys should make a movie together, space cop style
The year is 2018 and three beings, A Brit who hates Mars Bars, A Closeted Homosexual/Food Critic and A Furry review a movie called Amadeus.
Really enjoyed the fact you could be honest with eachother about Ralphs film, both good and bad. It was constructive and interesting!
My favorite intro of yours is the Chills parody
Do you know which one that is? I have to hear it
0:02 I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT
Amadeus is one my favorite movies! Glad you guys talked about it 🤗
I love this movie. We had it on vhs, and I've loved it since the first time I saw it, probably around 5 yrs old. I watch it periodically in my life and I think Ralph is right for once. 10/10, I don't think we will ever get another alternate history piece like this maybe ever.
Alex and Adam trying so hard not to rip Ralph's movie to shreds made my day.
Especially Ralph taking criticisms as compliments holy shit lol
"the trailer is pretty neat, people tell me its a good trailer"
"Oh the bong scene ahaha that's a great scene"
"We had to go out in the cold, it was like the revenant"
(Adam says lighting was bad) "oh so if you couldn't tell the light was artificial then we did our jobs right ahah"
"The movie looks pretty good"
Amadeus might be my favorite film of all time.I am glad that it is being discussed.
I love these guys so much
The Shining is a great Christmas film - lots of lovely snow.
Adam sounds like squidward on helium. Also, when he asks Ralph about dogma95 having inspired the films terrible low budget look and Ralph says no, priceless.
Into The Spiderverse is easily one of the best animated films I’ve ever seen and possibly the best superhero film I’ve ever seen. Ever! Also I’m happy to hear that your movie was such a success and finally got finished, Ralph
Bringing in the new year with this :)
Best new podcast of 2018.
Uuh jarcast?
Riley Garratt I thought they been around since 2016
@@jackkenoff420 yup but they still win
Lol, this is epic, you almost never get the chance to interview the Director from the movie they were talking about!!
I'm so excited for this ep.
Amadeus is my all time favorite film since I watched it as a kid. I even bought the sheet music for his Requiem so I could follow along with his descriptions to Salieri and in general.
Best podcast of 2018 and so far, best podcast of 2019
One of the most underrated podcasts ever
awww yesss another Sardonicast
I recommend you to watch History Buffs review of Amadeus.
Even Nostalga Critic's editorial on Amadeus gives good insight on the film's historical basis.
CRO guys does it have skits? I’m not going to watch ANYTHING by Nostalgia Critic until he stops doing those ridiculous skits.
@@jimtreebob2096 Unfortunately ,yes.
CRO guys god dang it.
It’s much more accurate than people give it credit for. I love it because it gets people who don’t listen or know much about classical music appreciate the genius of Mozart.
Thanks for including my art boys!
👏👏Nicholas Cage 👏👏 in SpiderVerse = The Epitome of Perfect Casting
Ryan Lol *Epitome
Didnt listen yet
Love you guys
Amadeus is one of my favorite movies (maybe even my favorite) so I’m glad y’all are talking about it
Best intro do far Adum, good jawb
The play it’s based on is actually by the late Peter Shaffer. It’s also called Amadeus, and was written in the late 70s. And, yeah, the rivalry is largely fiction, but there is a surprising amount of historical accuracy with other small moments. Shaffer also wrote a play called Equus which has a film adaptation with Richard Burton in it. It’s not as good as Amadeus, but it’s a fascinating watch.
Oh man they are reviewing Amadeus i can remember watching the movie in music class during Elementary school
Releases right on new year's day
In Melbourne, Australia
I didn't get notifications in my subscriptions for your videos in a while
thank god for this channel
I can’t wait to see lover. Oh and you should guys should definitely talk about bandersnatch (on Netflix).
I'm so glad that you guys watched the spiderverse movie! It was excellent in my opinion and I feel that most of the criticisms that you guys had were fair. I really hope you guys appreciate the animation that came with the story because I personally do not think that this movie ever could have worked as a live action movie. The styles of each character had to be conveyed through animation because any other medium would've have made all the cast jarring to look at and wouldn't have clearly separated them as individual characters. I also think that the animation was used seriously as a tool for the story. Live action is grounded in reality and can only convey so many concepts but animation is almost limitless on what it can convey. The animation, in my opinion, wasn't just a "cherry on top" or a compliment to the writing, I think it is the reason the movie was successful in the first place! It gave the movie style and it gave the movie personality. It helped with the tone of the movie and it helped convey the emotions of the characters. Animation is usually directed to kids but this movie shows the potential of animation to convey a story that live action could only dream of doing. Hopefully one-day people seriously consider animation as a legitimate medium to use to tell a captivating and engaging story.
Ralph, love ya man. I'm not watching the lover part and I will be paying for it as soon as I can get a group of mates together for it. I'm going in blind but I have faith in you
The what’s up danger scene was riveting
it feels like years between episodes.
Ending the year with a bang
Y'all should do an episode on Pulp Fiction
I liked it when Ralph was basically giving an example on how it’s not the tools you use, it’s how you use it.
Have a happy New Year, fellas
Glad I took music theory in high school my teacher played Amadeus halfway through the year and now it's one of my favorites
So happy Ralph is still going...
Anyone else constantly watch the top right of Adam's head waiting for the sound wave to perfectly fit?
What do you mean?
Yes haha glad to see someone else does this
No but I do now
I actually love Adam's movie trailer voice
How did you miss "It's a Wonderful Life" for good Christmas films?
It's not very good lol
Bluesir TheFox Adam has it on his Watchlist. He thinks he’ll really like it based on what filmmakers he respects have said about it, but he hasn’t seen it yet.
St Kaleb you’ve probably never even seen it you child lmao
BossumRay
I agree. It's a wonderful life, to me, is just one of those movies that only happens to take place during Christmas, like Gremlins, Die Hard, etc. The themes and morals have nothing to do with Christmas, and it's not a movie I can really watch every year. Not to say it's a bad film, but I just don't consider it a Christmas movie.
Ya it’s also one of those movies that I personally find hard to watch multiple times due to the length and seasonal charm of the film so it’s not one of those movies I can watch every Christmas
49:20 Adam meows
WHYYYYYYYY
Eyyy was gonna watch Shallow Graves soon anyways!
That Sardonigascar artwork killed me!
Damn, I loved the music
my fanart made it into the opening! My life is complete! (it's the third (Madagascar) one)
I love how earnest Alex was when he said it was his favourite one, that was cute
Alex in general is cute ;)
Christmas movie = set around Christmas time AND has themes of family/giving/stuff that makes you feel warm and happy 🤷🏻♀️
Back when I was at uni, my friend dragged us all to see 'The Ring 2' for her birthday. That's still the only movie I've fallen asleep watching at the cinema. I couldn't tell you anything that happened. Probably for the best though lol.
I was sceptical of Spiderverse from the beginning and absolutely shocked at how good it was.
Went to see Joe vs the volcano with a group of 5 or 6 friends, the audience was us and about 8 other people, as it became obvious that the film wasn't going to get any better, the other people all got up and left one by one, then my group all got up and left, with no discussion. Only mass walk-out I've ever seen, and totally deserved.
Fallen asleep in many movies, but that says more about my undiagnosed sleep apnoea than the films themselves. Sometimes took me 3 or 4 attempts to watch a long film and catch all of it.
I disagree on the Raimi movies, I really love the first two and I rewatched them before seeing Spider-Verse and they still hold up, they were immediately topped by Spider-Verse but they're still great movies.
All the camp was really charming and funny, they felt like an early Spider-Man comic in the best possible way. I’d still say that sm2 edges it out, but it’s still top three material when it comes to Spider-Man movies.
Shaman X Nah it isn’t.
Shaman X ooh you called someone retarded for having an opinion different to yours, that must mean your opinion is better
They are great. The 1st is good but doesn’t hold up as well imo but the 2nd one still does. I’m gonna have to disagree with you as far as Spider-Verse topping Spider-Man 2 tho. Spider-Man 2 is still easily the best Spider-Man movie and most likely will always be. Spider-Verse gets 2nd Place
@@jadenvanhess2341 I agree e,crept when u said spiderman 1 didn't hold up well
52:23 omfg Alex I was crying withe laughter after I watched aquaman too and my family kept insisting we wait to see if there were clips afterwards whilst I was literally begging to leave and my dad was shouting down the theatre "iS tHiS mArVeL?"
I think you should know by now you're not supposed to leave.
Thank u guys
It's funny how they were talking about Cool Cat directly after talking about Bohemian Rhapsody. Queen has a song titled Cool Cat 😂
'A History of Violence' has a great poster
I own a really old pencil case with sharks on it. Later I realised there were some sharks on it that are on the Aquaman poster.
Into The Spiderverse is possibly my movie of the year, yeah i know there's probably better produced movies, well made, better story but i loved this movie so much. DAMN/10
Slapstick humour works so well with animation with its exaggerated style.
I can't wait to hear their thoughts on Into The Spiderverse!
