I watched the episode and it was fantastic, but after looking into her case, she defrauded 83 people, one person for 37k after knowing their application was denied. That person even gave impact statements at her sentencing. Which makes more sense of why she got 10 years. She was order to pay back more than $500,000.
doesn't matter, it was still a great interview and a great story with great information to be honest. There's been the worst people on the interview, but that's kind of the point to not let their past change what their interview was like or their experience
Stop believing everything you read. That is media. The charges were eventually dismissed and she was recharged with a different set of charges. The government never go back to clean out what they put out. If you follow her then you would also learn that the Judge on her case eventually released her from probation and she was released early from prison. I wish she had put that out there. Great interview Ian.
