I love the gritty aesthetic of Cannon Fodder, I wonder how the linework was achieved. Was it Xeroxed? Did they use different kinds of pencils/pens than normal?
I Love this Movie!!! I see Memories when i have 9 years old and It bloud my mind, because i never see something like this before!!! So beautifull, and The Music composed of Yoko Kanno surrounding, The Opera of Giacomo Puccini "Madame Butterfly", it was perfect!!?.

@@y0lks It's not that it was weak or bad. Not at all, it was really good. It's just didn't go too well with other two, since it was more of a satire, comedy, while Magnetic Rose and Canon Fodder were more serious.

メモリーズ好きだったなぁ…住み込みの寮暮らしの時に知ってるヤツが２～３人程居てビデオ持ってるヤツがいて夜中こっそり全員でキッチンで見てたなー。一番目の話好きだったなラストのキャラクターの表情がいい…二番目でしんみり感吹っ飛ぶんだがな。笑
漫画家が監督したら凄かった…みたいな。
そういや、メモリーズはずっと覚えてるけど劇場で見た2作目になる「SHORT PEACE」は断片でしか覚えてないな。
確か購入していた筈のパンフレット見直してみるか。

Ep３の「大砲の街」、先生の ディテール志向が感じられて好きやけど（レンタル）、三作品共 AKIRAで ファンになった方々向けの印象。
同年 公開だった「甲殻」、AKIRAを初めて目の当たりにした時とおんなじ衝撃で、新たな未来を予見させる内容やった。
