Wow the dragon valley 1.0 is looking amazing with the thick monte carlo carpet. I was really surprised to see how shiny your crypt nurii was in the low maintenance scape.

I remember when I got my first low iron tank, I was blown away with how big of a difference it was. If only they weren't so much more expensive... :(
I know. I have mostly low iron aquariums but tried to cheap out on these two 22G bookshelves. Regret it wholly

I'm new to the Aquascaping community and your carpeting plants are living there best life. I've tried baby tears and monte carlo and they just melted away. What are the key points to your success?
High light is a must for these. I run my lights for 12 hours. I also think Co2 really helps these delicate plants. Not a 100% must, but high Co2 levels seem to help. If you can get your carpet to “pearl” all evening, you have enough light and co2. 🤘
@@ssaquascapes So I purchased a CO2 Canister with Inline diffuser after watching your videos. I pulled all my floating plants cause they were growing like weeds. I have a Aqueon 24 x 24 cube so Im adding another light. I'm not giving up so which would you recommend Monte Carlo or Baby dawft tears? recommend
@Royjah-sp9rm both plants are going to have the same requirements. Dwarf baby tears seems to melt less in my experience and it takes to aqua soil better than Monte Carlo. The only success I’ve had with Monte carlo is growing it epiphyte style. But as long as you’ve got CO2 and light, either one should work well for you depending on whether you want a larger leaf of Monte carlo, or the smaller of the baby tears.
I just got an ideea where to place the RO. Step 2, how can i convince my wife to agree with buckets or at least a single barrel 🙉

How are your zrdr co2 systems working? Since you didn't really mention them I assume they're doing ok. I'm setting up a 2 liter system right now. I got the dual gage regulator, which I wouldn't have done without your recommendation on your review, so thanks for that tip. I'm hoping it works as well as yours do.
Still no issues at all with any of the 3 ZRDR systems. All working and bubbling out that sweet Co2! 🤘

How long you expose the plants to peroxide, when you refill the tank after you mist h2O2?
5 minutes average kills most of the algae’s. Very sensitive plants like pogostemon stalatus leaves or Rotala wallichii leaves will not enjoy the peroxide. On those types of plants I just trim the stem below the algae.
