I havent tried Highfleet yet, but from I've seen, most videos are about the biggest and meanest ships. Meanwhile, you're fast and tiny, and avoiding most damage thrown at you. I wonder how multiple small ships instead of a bit capital ship affects the campaign?
i did try the big and heavy option but it does give you less speed while traveling and if you wanna do the story with big ships , itll be so expensive but possible so i wanted to make two groups , instead of 1 flying around with mothership. i could cover more ground and the agillity of a small ship really makes for a tense and an adrenaline filled battle as every dodged bullet counts ! i love this game alot
Try it, best game I've played in decades! This video is nice because it is a pair of real battles in an actual campaign. Most videos of massive capital ships are in the shipworks testing simulator, and they use way too much fuel for use in a campaign.
Nice ships! Something I notice though is that you built them as bottom fighters, but your play style seems to keep you above your targets. In the main battle you definitely keep low a lot more, but you also seem to take more hits. You should try building some top fighters, you might like them more as they should fit your natural combat style more. I do the same thing though, bottom fighters tend to be more fuel efficient, but I love to dodge upwards.
