Another tip for you JJ. The land area you're planning to buy, has a lot of the Sequa trees in it, and they don't sell for much. You're not supposed to cut them down, since they are protected. I recommend scouting out the land before purchase, so you can see what type of trees are on it. All the trees that are not straight are better used for productions, like planks and woodchips. Oak is really good for that, because they contain a lot of wood mass. But if you sell them, you won't get paid as much, since they are not straight enough. Best way to sell logs is using the containers. you chop the Spruce, Pine etc, into the exact length of the container (think the lengths are 6, 9 and 12), and you deliver the container at the sell point to the north east near the train tracks.
Thanks for the info southfang I kinda liked that area thought it would be a good spot for a base lol might have to change my mind then. The containers thing make a lot of sense since they are cut to a certain length I might have to do that too still very new maybe things I’ll try very soon or later but thank for the tips.
Also, Woodchips sell for a good price in Jan on this map.
That’s nice January is coming up soon lol! Is there any lot you would suggest buying? For any reason could be location close to X or flat so easy to log or certain types of trees whatever the reason is there any lot you would say I should go?
@@G4mingWithJJ If you are planting trees for production, Oak are really good. They contain a lot of mass and they are fully grown after only 5 months. For selling wood, the 4 ones you already are chopping are the best. Spruce, Pine, etc. When you eventually start using containers, it's important that you cut the exact length that the container is, otherwise you will get a penelty to the pay out. So I would use a tree harvester for those, since you can set the exact length you cut the logs.
@@southfang78 oh penalties yikes. And okay thanks so I’ll probably plant a bunch of oak then cuz I want to do the roller coaster at some point so I will need to do the productions.
