TVS SERVICE CENTERS ARE WORST. They don't have practical knowledge. Usually they gave the anwer " IT'S NORMAL." They dont have the solution. If we visit a local workshop they will the find the solutions easily.
I own BS IV 19 Ntorq, rode 41,000 km till now with Avg city mileage 45-46, highway 51 kmpl. TVS manual say V- belt needs to be changed after 20,000 km but I changed it after 24,000 then at 39,000 km on odo. I didn't face engine vibrations or belt click sounds. Personally I feel engine vibration are very low with Motul le 5w40 on riding at 80-85kmph compared to other oils. V belt problem arises mainly due to high drag on your rear tire with low air pressure and tight brakes. At constant rpm, engine produce torque to move the vehicle. When your bike rear brakes are too tight, it puts additional pressure on your engine to rotate the rear wheel which indirectly burns the V Belt and decreases the mileage. Do not rev hard, Brakes are very important but also check your rear tire if it at least revolves for 1.5 to 2 circles when your rotate it on centre stand. Some service centers mechanics do not check these things unless told to. They follow the complaint sheet provided with your bike and works on it only. experience
From personal experience #Do not trust your mechanic blindly, search for the issue and way to fix it. if you don't know how these things are fixed then you're screwed and will be over charged.
Correct, drive belt breakdown often, and inner parts of aluminium that's why lot of tesr wear , I own ntorq ,driven 20000km, worst problem is drive belt issue ,

Low pickup means aapka clutch plate ka issue he ek baar check kro. Handle vibration mtlb apka belt ek portion pe hard hua he, jaise hi aap acceleration release kroge handle wobble krega, rear tyre bhi check kr lena, hard hit hua rhega to alloy me dent aata he.
1.new belt 2.apply grease on belt 3.accelerate wheel with greased belt. 4. Cleaned grease from the belt. White bottle me petrol tha, belt pe lgaya hua greas clean kiya, new belt tha to thoda smooth line krna pdta he.
Actually It has too many problems in the timing belt and clutch mechanism. For every 2k to 3k km belt gets broken. Very worst experience by using Nrorq from last 4 years😢

V belt problem arises mainly due to high drag on your rear tire with low air pressure and tight brakes. At constant rpm, engine produce torque to move the vehicle. When your bike rear brakes are too tight, it puts additional pressure on your engine to rotate the rear wheel which indirectly burns the V Belt and decreases the mileage.
Do not rev hard, Brakes are very important but also check your rear tire if it at least revolves for 1.5 to 2 circles when your rotate it on centre stand.
Some service centers mechanics do not check these things unless told to. They follow the complaint sheet provided with your bike and works on it only.
