Im from a decent background and area of England, I found slug in Orlando in 06 on school trip when me and a friend went astray and bought some bootleg cds off some dude on the street. Who knows, it could even have been the man himself for all I remember. I couldn’t relate any less to his past but I still feel like he speaks to and for me. He’s a true artist

There is such a wonderful tone of story telling so eloquently while making metaphors with wordplay in slugs lyrics that pair so well with ants tracks.. When he says you got to write your way through. I feel like once again he's using this powerful lyric to talk to the audience saying do what's familiar to you do whatever you're good at and use it to give purpose and meaning to your life to use that skill or joy, as your cornerstone. Something that gives you empowerment in life. Basically something playful or disciplined like riding a bike or building a bike but do whatever it is that you enjoy doing to the fullest and utmost.

This is why Atmosphere is my favorite artist. I have a lot of favorite rappers. Such as Chris Webby, but Atmosphere is on a whole other level. His music, his lyrics are pure poetry. I rarely ever here any of his music have popular phrases that rappers all go to like "a rock and a hard place" Every rapper uses the similar lyrics anymore, but Atmosphere STILL comes up with new music to this day and all of his lyrics go together brilliantly. Sometimes its so simple but yet beautiful.
