Today's video is a little out of the ordinary! I was contacted by a company called EnviroKlenz to come up with a creative way to torture test their air purification system. An air purification system is something I had been eyeing anyway as a way to help purify the air in my 3D print room, and when I remembered I had a stack of old LiPo batteries laying around this seemed like a good idea.
In this video we make several LiPo batteries rupture inside an enclosed space containing the EnviroKlenz unit and basically just see what happens. If you were ever curious about what it looks like to short circuit a 3 cell Lithium Battery, or what it looks like to stab a 3 cell lithium battery, then look no further.
