Not sure if anyone else posted this already but the knob in the front center storage is a bass controller connected to the LC2i that is mounted near the passenger side battery. They had a subwoofer and amp added on at some point.

I was a Bentley Sales Specialist for just over 10 years. They really are the most majestic machines. In the flesh, or metal if you like, you honestly feel the quality of the hide, the perfectly matched stitching on every piece of trim, the stunning bookmatched veneer with its mirror image running down the centre. And of course the brutally elegant 6.0 litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine. The only thing more breathtaking than the giant booming sound is the force with which you hit the back of your seat! The torque feels never-ending!
Worth every penny, those big beautiful Bentleys. ❤

Bentley is nice to drive, the moment they need maintenance be prepared to pay 20 thousand for something that will cost you 1000 dollars on regular cars.

This used to be sold here as the Volkswagen Phaeton. Explains the 60% deprecation.
There's a phaeton in the US as well they go for 5-10k. I'd take the bently any day ones just a VW that everyone thinks is a passat the others ones a Bentley that everyone treats you like your a king

Never beneficial, NEVER to trade a vehicle (only a salesman would say that) trading will get you screwed on the front end or the back end.. Buying new take 22-28% of the price then subtract rebates then you have a fair deal, always close at end of month

Question, I bought a used car and was given verbal guarantees as well as documented emails that I would have a 30 day warranty, fuel pump went out three weeks into the 30 day warranty, cost me $1,400 to repair, dealer would not reimburse me, even though I didn't have it written contract regarding the warranty, I had it documented through emails and verbal guarantees from the salesman, do I have any grounds to sue this dealer for the repair cost?. I even spoke to the owner of the dealer and he will not stand by his salesman's guarantee of the 30 day warranty. it seems as though once they got their money from the sale they didn't care about any verbal or email communication regarding the 30- day warranty. Very Dissapointing.

These share a lot of parts with the Audi A8 so if you get the part number off the the parts that need to be replaced and call Audi instead of Bentley you can save a shit ton.

Let's peel back this onion. MSRP 235k, selling after 5 years with less than 30k miles for 99k. This means the dealership will sell this for 94k and make a profit, so the man sold it to them for probably 75-80k. This video is cool because it proves exotic luxury cars depreciate more than any vehicle you can buy. In my head I believe this Bentley lost the original owner about 68 percent in the 27k miles he drove it. That is more depreciation than a spark. Chevy dude, are my numbers reasonable or am I way out of line here?

Its because of the trendy nature of expensive luxury items a spark will depreciate less because practically and value heavily outweigh having somthing nice most of the time. A spark will also likely sell faster because there's demand for it and a larger audience it can sell to and afford to own it. Depreciation is all based on value and demand, somthing like a luxury car will also begin to look tacky and showboaty once enough time passes and it becomes older and more outdated, its like a trend or fad.
I can go find 3 2007s in the 50s or 60s right now.
Arizona stamps purchase price on title because we pay registration based on new value less 10% per year and some factor. Anyway my favorite jag I bought for $1000 cash not running has a sale price of $73,360 lol. Lost 72,360 over 9 years and a bum engine. Hahah. That’s how I buy and own them. As I’m in southern Arizona I buy clean pre loved broken “British Motors” and I fix them. My yard and sheds are full of Jaguar and Land Rover parts. Lol. It’s kinda my hobby to fix them. Love it. Many people try to rib me over their unreliable reputation and the funny thing is once I go through the vehicles I buy they are dependable as heck. Mine rarely break down and it annoys people I know how reliable and dependable mine are. Right now I have 2 side by side one was in a major side impact crash but great 59k driveline, 1 owner and the other was 114k driven into water and well engines still full water. It sucked water into the engine and driveline but has a perfect body so I’m moving the driveline and interior from low mileage sweet car over to flood mobile. Essentially in a metal shell of flood car moving everything else from crash car making 1 car. AND I have another broken jag here needs a transmission part the A drum I’ll pull from flood car transmission and get 2 running and scrap the crash car. Basically under a grand and I have 2 running XJ8’s. Just have to work with the way they devalue. We could easily flip the jags for $7/8k each grand investment and probably 40/60 hours work. $13-15k profit after the costs.

Assuming the guy who traded it in was the original owner he just lost $150,000 in 4 years if you guys gave him $85,000 for it. So it cost him about $5.50 per mile not including maintenance or gas that is ridiculous.

Probably the owner of the dealership's car.
My parents went to a dealer and went in with a trade in and looked at a car they were told they were being given more for their trade then they really were. my uncle went the same day and looked at the same car at the same dealer without a trade. the difference in the price and with a trade was 200 dollars. they gave him more of a discount without a trade in. my parents they just told them they were giving them more money for their trade in. So basically they were only giving my parents 200 dollars for their trade in.
@freEvo8 This was back in the 80's and the car they were trading in was like 2 years old. the last time they took a car in for trade was last year and nada gave it a trade in of 2,200 dollars and again the dealer they went to offered them around 200 dollars for the car and it needed nothing. my parents already had all of the issues repaired so they kept it and my older brother offered them 1,200 for it and they sold it to him. he has been driving it ever since without issue.

A. There is a reason why that car depreciated so fast and you are very naive if you don’t know why just based on the cost of the brakes! Without a factory warrantee stay far, far away!
B. Although every auto maker has there problems Chevy sure has 100’s more than Toyota or Honda based products! Ask any mechanic who works on all car makes and the only good thing they will tell you is when they brake, and they will, it won’t cost you an arm and a leg to fix unlike an Audi or BMW for example. Lower level products like a chevy Cruise for example compared to a striped BMW for example.
C. Most any car today is decent for the 1st 5 years 75,000 than Bam, you realize why Lexus mechanics are still doing routine maintenance on their cars 10 years in why these American designed cars are not even the same car with all the replacement parts put in from year 5 to year 10! And that’s a fact unfortunately! Way too many CZcams professional mechanics to back up those claims unfortunately!😱🤔🤫🤫🤫🤐🤐🤐
And I do believe Mike is one of the honest car salespeople which is extremely rare!
Wish you were there to tell me not to buy a Chevy Sonic. Both catalytic converters have went bad along with both 02 sensors. Now I am not a genius but I am pretty sure something caused this, but the Chevy dealer in WV that we used said not to worry they can just go bad. I think it's time to send it down the road and let someone else worry about it. Yes, if it's sold I we will be honest with the buyer and tell them everything we had replaced.
