I think drinking and drug use he’s done was because of how much his body was in pain from all the risk high flying moves he’s done year round for years and it was probably the only thing that made him feel better masking all the pain from the big falls that he’s taken watch any video of him now doing the swantan bomb you can see he’s in so much pain he’s always grabbing his lower back after, I know he loves wrestling but it’s time to retire his body can’t do this anymore and there’s visible signs of it, he’s put his body on the line to make us fans get a great experience and to that I thank him but I think it’s time for him to focus on his health and relax
I definitely don’t disagree with anything that you said about the spiral of his career. But I would’ve definitely liked for you to talk about the major Highlights of Jeff Hardy after Victory Road. As a person who watched his last (well before he recently returned) TNA run. Jeff After Victory Road 2011- 2015 was in his element. He had arguably some of his best performances and mic work. Yes it slowed down a bit near the end but he had another resurgence with Matt & he was doing great all the way until he started getting injured with WWE. As far as those few hiccups here and there, they were nothing too too major. Although he definitely stopped a lot of plans for him. But I can say this. 2011- 2021… he was virtually clean.
I’ve always rooted for this guy! He was a big part of my childhood! He’s a unique guy! It’s hard to root against him, only when he keeps getting in trouble! I just always wished he got himself together! Instead of 1 WWE CHAMPIONSHIP, and 2 WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPS! He could have easily been a 5X plus WORLD CHAMPION! He’s three years from 50, I hope he gets it together! I’m rooting for him, as I rooted for Scott Hall, another favorite of mine! Long live the bad guy!
Nah I still remember trying to make his sleeves cuz they looked cool to me, bro was amazing. That 2017 WrestleMania return with matt always gives me goosebumps
Honestly, the biggest compliment I can give to Jeff is he's come back from every fuck up. Addiction isn't easy man and the fact he's still alive and trying deserves respect.
Jeff hardy was one of my childhood idols man I grew up watch in him in the late 2000s his charisma his talent his aura with and look he had it all he was one of the most over wrestlers and champions in wrestling ❤ legend.
So sad to see this happen to him. He was my very first favorite wrestler and will always hold a special place in my heart. Unfortunately his issues have made me lose respect for him and I will never be able to look at him the same.
Jeff hardy was one of my childhood idols man I grew up watch in him in the late 2000s his charisma his talent his aura with and look he had it all he was one of the most over wrestlers and champions in wrestling ❤ legend.
You shouldn't let personal issues tarnish what he has accomplished as a professional athlete throughout his career. No one, and I mean NO one cares to do many of the moves from many of the heights he did. He's a legend man, it's just that all of those insanely risky moves he did, did a toll on his body and he hurt immensely. Some dealer saw an opportunity to sell some pills and Jeff ended up taking them to numb his pain and so he could still perform at his high level. Unfortunately those pills are very addictive, and infest the mind with a grip stronger than you have ever seen. He took pain killers and Somas, which are muscle relaxers. He was just tryina allow his body to keep up the pace as he aged. A LOT of WWE stars used painkillers. Jeff just had that predisposition for addiction in his blood and it got a hold on him. You should lighten up on him and be grateful for what he put his body through and the pain he endured for your enjoyment 🤷
You can have your opinion but me personally I will never lose respect for someone for having an addiction especially someone who beat the drugs like Jeff has. Now Jeff has to beat another addiction and hopefully he can
Jeff Hardy truly was the hottest thing in the mid 2000s, always gets the loudest pops when he did all that crazy shit. Jumping off the titantron, snapping the ladder and edge at WM and so so much more. So many brilliant runs with the IC title but all fans REALLY wanted to see Jeff finally win the big one. Still remember he earned title shots multiple times successively but was never able to do so. But think backstage heard all the "Hardy" chants. I've watched WWE for over 20 years and I can safety say Jeff Hardy becoming WWE Champion at Armageddon '08 is my favorite moment ever if I HAD to pick one. I have so many good memories of watching the Hardyz with my cousins/friends. I've been saying this for a very long time now, I really hope Jeff sorts out his shit.
Sadly its time Jeff Hardy, I idolized you as a kid me and my brother use to wrestle like the hardys its painful to see jeff suffering its best to retire gracefully well he still has something left with fans, its been over for awhile for jeff its time...
It's definitely time for Jeff to walk away, which I have been personally calling for in recent years. His ring style was not meant to be sustained for as long as he used it, and it obviously has taken a toll on him throughout his career. Maybe if he was more conservative with it, his addiction issues probably either wouldn't be as bad or-better yet-wouldn't exist at all. Jeff is undoubtedly a legend and has contributed a lot to pro wrestling. But it's at the point where you can not talk his legacy without mentioning his personal problems. I don't think that he is anywhere near the horrible person that many accuse him of being, but he is certainly much too troubled and unreliable for any promotion to take a chance on, combined with his age and his decline. I sincerely hope that he FINALLY stays on the straight and narrow, but that's never a guarantee with him.
Jeff hardy was one of my childhood idols man I grew up watch in him in the late 2000s his charisma his talent his aura with and look he had it all he was one of the most over wrestlers and champions in wrestling ❤ legend.
Coolest feeling ever was watching that wrestlemania when they returned in 2017, and it was just one of those moments where it was like “NO WAY!!!!”. I know he’s gonna make it out on the other side and he will get completely sober one day. I don’t dislike him for his drug usage. It was inevitable that it would happen with the risks he took and injuries that happen. Then you have some personal shit happen, and that’s all it takes and you’re down a road that you never thought would happen to you. I believe in him and no matter how many times he relapses, I’ll always be behind him and be a fan. Ppl gotta understand that he’s not using because he doesn’t give af what his fans think or that he’s selfish or anything like that. In fact it’s most likely the opposite. The shame, and the pressure he feels to put on the best possible performance he could for every crowd no matter how small it was. That’s probably just one of many things he deals with mentally. Not to mention, I am SURE that he’s dealing with some level of CTE being he was part of the eras that competed and took repeated chair shots to the head, and he was known for being in “hardcore matches” for example. Ppl need to stop judging him or judging addicts in general, and see it for what it is!!! A DISEASE!! It’s a mental disease though which is why it’s not taken very serious and you have many ppl who will not call it a disease, because it doesn’t show physical signs like viruses or infections, etc, will show. Ppl get mad at the assistance that addicts get all the time, and will say things like “why should they get help?!?! It was their choice to begin with!! I work my ass off and I don’t get anything!” Which is such a disgusting way to think. For anyone who thinks that way, do me a favor…. Attend the funeral of an addict that has OD’d for example. You tell me after talking to those ppl that it’s “not a disease”… I would love to see that, but they WON’T do it, because they all know that’s crossing into territory that they don’t wanna acknowledge. It’s a “look at this hand, don’t look at what the other hand is doing” type of mentality…. To anyone out there struggling, idc if you’ve relapsed 50+ times. I’ve known ppl that have relapsed or at least been to rehab 16 different times, just keep fighting and I promise one day you will find the reason for your usage through therapy, and you will be able to deal with that trauma, and kick that addiction for GOOD! Also, I always thought N.A. and AA were both just basically cults…. But find yourself a good group… they are out there. I went to one particular N.A. group that rlly helped me. If you go and it’s just a bunch of old-timers sitting around telling “war stories” in other words, don’t go to those groups. Go to the groups that don’t talk about what you used, how much you used, when you would use, anything like that, and go to the groups that talk about moving forward, how to cope with things again, because THAT is essentially the reason for relapse. If addicts are not taught how to cope again with things in general, they are being setup for failure and to basically just “white knuckle” it until they relapse again. Addiction has been presented completely wrong, and it continues to be treated wrong as well, mostly because they make sooooo much money off of ppl going to rehabs. It’s horrible honestly. Every time they detox someone for example, which usually lasts about 4-7 days (depending on what it is and all that ofc and could take 2-3 weeks even), that right there is about $20k that they get to charge your insurance, and then they can make it where they say “we are a 30 day program” and will lie to ppl about being completely covered, and then half way through they are told “so your insurance will no longer pay and you have to pay the rest out of pocket. Oh you wanna leave now because you can’t afford it?!?! I would suggest finding a way, because otherwise we put down that you didn’t complete the program and then your insurance will not cover any of the time you were here and you will have to pay”…. THEY ARE BUSINESSES!!! THEY ARE THE ONES THAT ARE EVIL AND CORRUPT!!! Praying for all addicts out there
Everyone has demons deep down it's about how you go about handling it the man has been given countless chances hopefully he's able to keep his life together for the better deserves to be in the hall of fame at some point for sure anyone struggling with addiction know that help is out there if you really want it you can turn yourself around feud with cm punk and umaga back in the day were fantastic ❤❤
Well yes, but it's about how Jeff got to be one of the greatest WWE superstars to losing all of this due to drug addiction and refusing rehab. It was indeed drugs, but considering how reckless he was in using them, I'm shocked he never once considered actually doing rehab. He'd rather lose all of his glory for some petty drugs.... It's a shame. By now his career is pretty much gone, he can't perform at the level he used to anymore.
This is obviously a saddening career of the legendary American wrestler Jeff Hardy sir due to those cases which he faced but I do want to see him to finally live his life happily and peacefully with his family and good friends!!!LONG LIVE,JEFF HARDY SIR!!!🏋️♂️
I hope he finds peace, he still has a chance at personal redemption and happiness. He gave so much for us, but it seems like he's in denial that he has any vulnerability in real life.
Jeff hardy was one of my childhood idols man I grew up watch in him in the late 2000s his charisma his talent his aura with and look he had it all he was one of the most over wrestlers and champions in wrestling ❤ legend.
At the end of the day, he is probably one of WWE’s biggest wasted potentials. The company did everything to try and help him, because they wanted him to succeed. But he just couldn't help himself
He is a messed up individual who happens to have one of the best talent in the ring so it hides it as long as it can but when the talent dissappears you can literally see what is rotting inside.
I'll never understand why people give this guy so many chances. As a fan who has had family die by the results of drunk drivers, i just can't support him. I dont understand why others don't see that he's had too many 2nd and even 3rd chances.
It's sad, really. If only he would have just accepted going into rehab sooner things would have been different for him. I respect him grinding things his own way, but it's just not enough to help him get clean for good. By now he's already too old to perform the same stunts as he did when he was 20, but that's still no reason for him not to quit drugs, he should make the effort to get his life back together.
This guy had so much talent but he has nobody literally nobody but himself to blame. Doesn’t matter what his problem is, he messed up several times in his life even after getting so many more and more chances.
I always root for Jeff and Valch for him a few times but when I can't anymore Like I can Understand Drugs are one hell of a drug (Pun intended) but Jeff gotta know when to quit and go clean like In 2021 when he got arrested I was disappointed like WTF Jeff again? Like for others such ad Kurt Angle , Eddie Guerrero (RIP ) overcame their struggles and they were legends but I agree I think its time for Jeff Hardy to retire idk for real but for a long time I wad a Jeff Hardy Fan man *sigh* I hope Jeff gets the help he need
I met him December 2021 at a bar in Tampa, he did a meet and greet and his band played. That was right before Wrestlemania and the Super Bowl was there and Tampa won it
@jarlwhiterun7478 December 2020* people can have typos or misremember dates, how about you stop thinking that you know everything? The Super Bowl was in February 2021 and Wrestlemania was in April 2021, I literally lived in Tampa and I literally attended Wrestlemania, you say educate yourself, well I just took you to school. Putting 2021 instead of 2020 is not "way off" and you should be able to use context to know the time period I was talking about, get fucked
@jarlwhiterun7478 it should be easy to see, since you know the timelines so wel, that I meant 2020 and not 2021, simple typo. The Super Bowl was in February and Wrestlemania was in April. I literally lived in Tampa and drove by the stadium the day of the Super Bowl and I literally went and attended Wrestlemania
At this point I think jeffs time is up. I’d be happy to see mat again. But Jeff’s fucked up one too many times imo. A brilliant wrestler, but a bad guy.
I think he should drop the combats and go for black tights and more mat skiils, he does have an amateur background and would be great to see a new take on his character
He was fun to watch when I was in middle school, but every time he came back to WWE he was older, a step slower, and his offense looked sloppier. Same with Matt and his back issues giving him such a stiff walk. These two need to retire
You know how many people suffer from drug addiction and they don't blast them all over the T.V Yet they did that to Jeff ..I can't stand how they outted him like that .Wrestlers get injured they have all been on pain killers and some are addicted right now..but nobody wants to talk about that .Love The Hardy boys .
Jeff Hardy is the embodiment of what happens when you let substances take over your life. Think about how many opportunities he let slide because of his addictions. Life is so much better if you let yourself stay clean as that’s one less setback to deal with.
He should head back to wwe with his brother maybe roll to the crazy characters enter a feud slash merger to the wyatt 6 and eventually the hugher power not vince this time but paletine mark calway.. however along the way vonce and poppa shango serve could be fun down the naustalgia spooky character road
He should probably have a little run on wwe again sure but he should be more of a part timer and not a full time wrestler anymore plus he should just stick with his brother matt not the wyatts
I don't agree with you framed this considering Jeff beat the drugs hes been completely clean from that since victory road. Jeff Hardy beat the drugs and that alone should be celebrated now he got addicted to alcohol and hopefully he can beat that too. As far as his legacy goes the only way he destroys that is if does something truly unforgivable
Im actually surprised vince saw so much in jeff to give chance after chance, most aren't getting as many chances as jeff got. Especially since most of the time vince wanted roid monkeys as champion
I’m a huge fan of Jeff Hardy and he’s yet another example of someone who started unfortunately living his gimmick. He’s portrayed as a daredevil and it seems he is and this translates into his real life. He’s also had known drug addiction and alcohol abuse. I think he’s also further enabled by his family and that especially applies to Matt Hardy. Christian Cage infamously roasted Matt in AEW for using Jeff no matter what it did as long as it furthered Matt’s career. This was an accurate representation even though Christian was probably saying it in character. Jeff has needed to retire to attend to his health and personal issues for many years. I hope he does that and can beat his demons because I’m afraid he’ll end up as a cautionary tale and another victim to the pro wrestling grind.
Yeah Jeff's time is over now. He needs to retire and think of himself and his family. More wrestling wont do him any good. His body is gone, I bet he wakes up everyday in so much pain. He's a legend in the industry and deserves respect. Hopefully Jeff understands this and retires with whatever dignity he has left.
He has gotten it together a number of times; he just couldn't keep it together. There was a number of years where he stayed on the straight and narrow until the last few years.
Noooooooo. No it doesn’t. Nothing you say or Jeff does. He can drink himself to death. It don’t change those great matches he had. The way I felt in that moment in time when he did something crazy in a match. Nothing currently or in the future can change those great moments in the past.
Jeff doesn’t need to go back to WWE he needs to stay far far away from WWE. Every time he’s clean WWE does a story on his addiction CM Punk and The WORST one Samoa Joe every time he relapsed. Nah he’d be stupid to go back.
Jeff hardy was one of my childhood idols man I grew up watch in him in the late 2000s his charisma his talent his aura with and look he had it all he was one of the most over wrestlers and champions in wrestling ❤ legend.
I am rooting for Jeff. Not to win the belt, but to get clean for real this time.
Let's be real, it's not happening. His last chance to go cold turkey was after that Victory Road disaster, and yet he's still doing this shit.
Yep, if he didnt get clean after the disaster Victory Road was, then he wont anymore. No one believes him. Jeff doesnt believe him.
What belt you talking about
Why would we think you meant the belt? Lol
@@WickedParanoid i mean are you atleast doing research? hes at the best he's ever been right now. listen to his music, his brothers podcast about him.
His feud vs CM Punk was legendary.
All his feuds!!
Drugs and alcohol will ruin you. I still have fond memories of him. I will never forget the ladder match between him and The Undertaker. Great moment
@@tygod2410100th comment i agree with you
@@tygod2410it 100% was.
1999 Jeff will always be my favourite wrestler. Young and fearless. His dress style was absolutely perfect too. Nu metal personified.
The number of chances that WWE gives Jeff, despite Jeff's history is beyond me.
Cuz he was an instant draw and upto a certain extent still is
Cuz he’s Jeff Fucking Hardy
Oh he about to get another 1 watch lol
If you can't comprehend why then you must be a bit slow.
Because he is one of the most popular Stars of all time ..
I still remember his ladder match against his brother. One of the best matches I've ever seen.

It's a shame he couldn't overcome drugs in time. If it wouldn't have been for the drug issues, I'm sure he would've become a top megastar.

I’ll always love Jeff. He is one of the biggest reasons I became a wrestling fan for me my two favourites were Jeff hardy and stone cold.

All right. We get it. Shut up, bot.

This was hard to watch Jeff hardy was my ultimate number 1 favorite wwe superstar and his addictions make me so sad
Jeff is a downfall no one wanted.
Wasted potentials? With everything that he did accomplish in WWE? Uh, no.
This will only end up worse if he continues to wrestle, he can't go.
He'll always be one of the GOATS in my eyes rs
Sad. Love u jeff. Get right my man.❤
He is a messed up individual who happens to have one of the best talent in the ring so it hides it as long as it can but when the talent dissappears you can literally see what is rotting inside.
He will always be my favorite pro wrestler.
I'll never understand why people give this guy so many chances. As a fan who has had family die by the results of drunk drivers, i just can't support him. I dont understand why others don't see that he's had too many 2nd and even 3rd chances.
Yeah, this comment section and jeff hardy fans in general, are being fucking pathetic..
he bring money. he is extremely popular.
Jeff Hardy lied about his age when he fought Razor Ramon in the 90's.
One can never move forward when grappling to the past
I Still Hope Jeff Hardy Gets
His Life Back Together Again
His Death Defying Stunts
Made Me A Big Fan Of Him
My hero ✨
I met him December 2021 at a bar in Tampa, he did a meet and greet and his band played. That was right before Wrestlemania and the Super Bowl was there and Tampa won it
You're way off. Tampa won it the year before and half a year before WrestleMania. The Superbowl was in LA 2 months after that. Educate yourself!
Anybody would be hooked on drugs too if they take the bumps Jeff did.
A lot of wrestlers have taken the same bumps he has, and none of them have gone off the handle as much as him. I like Jeff, but still.
At this point I think jeffs time is up. I’d be happy to see mat again. But Jeff’s fucked up one too many times imo. A brilliant wrestler, but a bad guy.
He is not a bad guy at all. He is very troubled. You can be troubled, but not be a bad person.
Tortured artist, incredible creative mind. I cant not root for him, we all get caught up in stuff. Ill always love Jeff.
Will always respect Jeff Hardy, the wrestler, will never again respect Jeff Hardy, the person.
These two need to retire

is that sal? 😭
Bro fumbled the bag so bad but nothing came close to fumbling sting 🤦🏻♂️
Jeff Hardy is the embodiment of what happens when you let substances take over your life. Think about how many opportunities he let slide because of his addictions. Life is so much better if you let yourself stay clean as that’s one less setback to deal with.
He destroyed his own career
His career is hardly destroyed. His image and reputation may be damaged to a degree, but his overall career is still legendary.
Jeff hardy should be in the hall of fame is he or is he not 🤔
Not after that Victory Road stunt and multiple drug-related offences. Not. Happening.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Chapter one. Drugs and alcohol
Chapter two. Drugs and alcohol
Chapter three. Drugs and alcohol
Chapter four. Drugs and alcohol.
Hope we see one last hardy boyz run in wwe than see them go in hof
Jeff hardy is my hero no matter what, always support him!❤
But this is not his full history.
In AEW he is completely healed himself, made a few extreme matches. And now made a return to TNA again.
Everybody says that after he gets arrested and it always happens and it's just sad at this point
I have empathy for Jeff as a person, but I just don’t care about him anymore. He refuses to get clean and it’s all in him
I never got into the CM Punk era. I out grew wrestling around when John Cena came in.
I will never understand why people cannot just leave the alcohol alone while driving... like its not that difficult.
Sad too because all those stunts ruined his body and relying on pain pills 💊 to not be in pain anymore that's gotta blow
Im actually surprised vince saw so much in jeff to give chance after chance, most aren't getting as many chances as jeff got. Especially since most of the time vince wanted roid monkeys as champion
WWE Hall of Fame inductee.
Is he in the hall of fame 🤔
Nope, not yet@@JLWprime10
No he isnt plus he should get inducted alongside Matt
Jeff Hardy: I'm going to stay sober this time
Jeff's demons: that doesn't work for me ,brother
Cameron, North Carolina
Drugs ruin everyone
So handsome and so crazy.
Yeah Jeff's time is over now. He needs to retire and think of himself and his family. More wrestling wont do him any good. His body is gone, I bet he wakes up everyday in so much pain. He's a legend in the industry and deserves respect. Hopefully Jeff understands this and retires with whatever dignity he has left.
damn seem like every few years this happens
If you're reading this, you're not the first comment.
Jeff going to Aew did him no favors
2:10 he met Shyla
Jeff Hardy is just another addict that will never get it together he has nobody to blame for his aew disaster than himself
As someone who love watching Jeff his downfall was sad to see
She’s still mad about that comment 😂
Jeff needs to stop making bullcrap excuses on why he can't stop being a junkie. There is way more to life than getting drunk and high.
and yet, WWE is considering giving him an 8th chance
Jeff doesn’t need to go back to WWE he needs to stay far far away from WWE. Every time he’s clean WWE does a story on his addiction CM Punk and The WORST one Samoa Joe every time he relapsed. Nah he’d be stupid to go back.
I felt bad if he didn't use drugs and drink alcohol maybe he would have been like cena Roman Brock hhh 😢 I just wish he didn't did anything in past😢
