One of your best. I just love sparrows as well as Paris! Wonderfully illustrated and narrated. I felt as if I was there yesterday and it was in the mid 70's when I lived in Bagnere de Bigorre on the southern border of France and Spain in the quaint Basque countryside of the Pyrenees! I lived for 3 month with a mixed family wherein the head was of bougois descent and his wife was of peasant spanish roots. Lovely, gracious, hospitable family who took me in like their own. I was able to mingle with the Basque people in the village, ski the slopes of the Pyrenees, tour the vineyards of Bordeaux, spend time in the Spanish countryside, and last, but certainly not least visit Paris. I loved the open marketplaces the best! At the time I was there, Salvador Dali had a wonderful exhibit of his art on the streets, before he became famous! wow, what a treat! Paris was wonderful and so full of raw talent, vivaciousness, and energy coupled with that certain joi de vie. Simply fantastic! You took me back to the beautiful Seine and promenading down the Chance Lisee. Thank you so very much for sparking some of my fondest memories!❤❤🎉

• I found the narration was a bit too lively. For the first time ever I stayed awake through the entire reading.. Hah! But still, Simon has a great voice! And I enjoyed the calming music afterward.
