Always upgrade the front control arms and increase the steering angle to turn sharper. Makes big a difference to handling. Its not necessary to buy the ultimate front control arms and max out that steering angle because at some point too high of a steering angle and the front tires won't really grip very well and just cause understeer though that's not really an issue for drifting.

If your game is lagging too much then lower all graphics settings but set fps to no limit. If you want good quality then increase resolution and shadow quality the game will look better.
