    hey , perfect nitro have the same power than red nitro , but you have to use yellow nitro for half sec to use perfect nitro thats why everyone think red is more powerful in general.
    If you compare only blue and red , they have the same acceleration power

    • @TimidSylveon
      @TimidSylveon  Před 5 lety +2

      Incorrect, I’m afraid. Red (Imperfect) has more power than Blue (Perfect). There’s a reason why us top 10 players cancel Perfect and do Imperfect before a ramp ;).

      It’s really only noticeable with no friction (in-air).

      To me I do feel like that the imperfect nitro does have more power when going in air

      The issue with that is that the servers for multiplayer run at 15 tick compared to the 30 FPS of the game. Meaning, it generally leaves half of what you see to the client. Shockwave is really short, meaning the server may actually never see it properly before it sees the 360. The game needs an upgrade in its servers.

    so… let say if i’m at top speed already and i used shock wave or perfect. it still keep the same speed?

    Can you give a bullet point list for dummies about yellow nitro? When exactly would you want to deplete your nitro bar with single tap/yellow nitro as opposed to keep it full for an eventual perfect/shockwave a few seconds later in the game on a track?

    • @TimidSylveon
      @TimidSylveon  Před 5 lety +7

      The general rule of nitro is to keep it on the entire race. Here’s the breakdown:
      Yellow: when you’re at speed
      Blue: When you need to get to speed but also are on a long stretch of road
      Red: Getting to speed fast on short bits of road
      Shockwave: Get to speed instantly.
      For example, if you’re making a turn that’s sharp and you have to drift, your goal is to drift enough to get to shockwave to get back to top speed. If you want to coast through a corner without drifting, first stage or Perfect are enough to maintain speed.
      So think of it like this:
      Yellow -> Top speed slowest (but lasts more)
      Blue -> Top speed faster (lasts slightly shorter)
      Red -> Top speed even faster (lasts much shorter)
      Shockwave -> Top speed almost instantly (depletes within seconds).
      It all comes down to measuring the time you have before you can acquire more nitro and how long the road is before that. For example, I’d shockwave in San Francisco on the hill to get more nitro out of the barrels, but I’d first stage in Himalayas to keep my top speed down the flat mountain.
