I have fond memories of quail hunting as a boy on my grandfather farm in Dooly county Ga. I new where several coveys of birds were, and I would take my single barrel twenty gauge an walk these birds up. That was the start of a love affair that continues to this day. I have had and hunted behind some great bird dogs. I am now 71 years old and have slowed quite a bit, but still like to see a fine bird work. It is good for my sole. Amen.

The setter/ lab combo is unreal! Can't imagine the amount of training that takes.

You ever hunted tame birds? You have to kick them to get them to fly. Those are plenty wild

Its hard to watch I hope one day these guys will not want to kill a thing. I grew up around hunters didnt think anything of it when I was in it but as I moved into a city life I cant even kill a worm.

Without hunters and conservation groups like PF & QF many of these habitats and animals would disappear forever.
Do you eat any meat? If so, do you realize that someone killed that animal in order for you to eat it?

Matthew Jaeger I agree- conservation is primarily funded by HUNTERS! People don’t realize that.
