My native friend who didn't grow up immersed in traditional ways exactly... Anyhow, so the sweat he went on was at one point completely dark. Even if they bothered to open their eyes. So he was in the middle of the tent and said he was too far away from any of the openings or seams for anything to reach him without being in there with them all. This was a big sweat like 15-20 ppl. He felt a huge hairy hand grab his face. And when the ceremony was over and there was light again, he had an eagle feather in his lap. He's very confused by all of this and feels about 6 different ways about the whole experience...❤
