I love this type of video - lots of techniques and ideas! I was so glad to hear your comment about not being able to leave white space. I try, I really do, but somehow that white space just keeps drawing my eye to it until I fill it with something! What a great idea to create all of the pages with one common color and then add a second to complement it. It's such a clever way to tie all of the pages of the journal together. I just love this!
I always want to see your art journaling. I truly love everything you make, you are so creative. I haven’t played with art journaling yet. I have bought Products that you have used and hope to use it someday. You always inspire me but just haven’t gotten the courage to jump in and go for it.I watch all of your videos and just love them. The art journaling is my favorite because so much goes into what you produce and I think it’s fabulous.

Hi, Vicky! I love watching you create backgrounds and love the idea of having them at the ready for later use. I was just having a play with my PaperArtsy Fresco Finish paints and created the first layers of some background layouts in my 10 minute journal. I’m enjoying finding new color combinations. I like how you used the kitsch flamingo throughout that ties all the pages together. I also enjoy that little Art by Marlene journal and realized that I still have 4 or 5 pages left to finish in the one I had started so I guess that will be tonight’s project! I look forward to seeing you bring these backgrounds to life in a future video. I am just loving Tuesdays!!! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us and have a great day!
