Hi Simona, after spending a month with 'A Course in Miracles: Based On The Original Handwritten Notes Of Helen Schucman--Complete & Annotated Edition', I now regard the Original Edition to be a much more preferable and therefore effective version for a deeper contemplation. The footnotes although informative, did distract me from the main crux of the Course, and in hindsight, I would only have read the Annotated Edition after the Original. Good thing I have both!🙂

Yes, Francis, I find the same. I'm grateful that the COA edition exists, but I find the original edition is the one I keep referring to, whilst the COA one is good to sometimes read, it has a place in my practice as well.

Thank you, Simona! 🌟What I think is that you can't escape this Illusion World until you learn your lessons. There are young souls, old souls. What I noticed is that you are attracted to visit or live in countries you lived in your past lives for ex you in India. Many souls could be recycled from Hell. We are like in a Prison here brought to evolve and surpass our past lives mistakes. What do you think? Much Love 💖💖🌈🌈🌠🌠

Yes, ACIM teaches we can escape through forgiving what triggers us. As I'm doing this, I see this world more and more dreamlike, so I believe this is the way to dissolve its reality.

So, How can we dismiss the creation story and how sin is what causes death and disease. Is the OT not accepted teaching?

Well, sounds like ACIM is borrowing teachings from the philosophy of Advaita Vedanta, which is more pure I would argue. It teaches that the one unchanging entity (Brahman) alone is real while changing entities do not have absolute existence. The world is Maya or illusion and only the Self is real. A person who realises this attains moksha (liberation of the soul).

I would recommend reading the book before forming such opinions, as such an opinion will serve as a lens to judge ACIM through.
