On the first level, try planting two trees on the top (or bottom) left and right edges of the screen- once they're fully grown you can plant trees between them and the orcs can't get at them so you don't have to constantly sweep your wisp around. If a spider poisons the trees and they get a crying face, run your wisp over them to 'cure' them. In the second lot of levels, run your wisp over the trees once they've crushed the spider eggs to reclaim them. Prioritise eggs that are changing colour as they are about to hatch. The final level puts you into a graveyard where you'll be attacked by the spiders that survived the second levels. It's pure chaos, but you have to clear the gravestones (I think) and the necromancers that appear. Fantastic game though, with wonderful graphics and music for the time. Bill Williams was an absolute genius.
The greenish-blue thing that hops in at 1:47 is an "Eye Pod" 🤣🤣🤣 creature that gives you seeds (the number appears after you hit the creature w/ your wisp)
I remember having this game on a cassette. Sadly, it would never load properly, so I couldn't play this game as a kid. But it looks so cool! Very demanding and intense. I also love the fact that our sorcerer is covered by a protective hexagram in the first stage.

Bill Williams was one of my favorite programmers in the 80's.
It is very good game as for 1982!
