Thank you very much for making the video. I just bought a FJ-09 and, thanks to you, I know I'm going to love this accessory.

They look very nice. I may follow your lead and put them on my FJ. Thanks for the video showing me how.

Thanks for the comments! These have been installed for almost three months now and still working well. I agree the price is a little steep, but they seem to be made well, so I am hoping they last!

If I remember correctly, there was an option to buy the parts to have the lights flash with the stock turn signals, that option comes with the resistors. Thanks for the comment!

My state requires turn signals to be amber in color. I don’t think these would pass inspection unless the indicator function were disabled, which is a shame because I like the added visibility.

Hello, great video, you are so right, this subject is not covered my many other people.
I see you retained the OEM flashers. Did the turn signal module have build in resistors?
I would like to install led flashers in hand guards of my mt09 but I also want to retain the OEM flashers. I am wondering if I can wire the leds directly into the flasher wire like you did or if I have include a resistor into the circuit to get led and OEM flashers to sync.
    Regards
    M

Where did you order the turn signal module/wiring kit from? Did it come with the light? I am looking to get one but the ebay link doesn't work anymore

Hey, thanks for watching. I did a search for "yamaha fj-09 knuckle guard led kit" and these lights come up, they are made by Dzell. Looks like there are a few used ones for sale too. Anyway, looks like I made this video about 6 years ago, I still have the bike and the lights are still working well, good quality. Good luck if you decide to get them, enjoy!

@@cpas2525 thanks for responding! So if I buy from Dzell they come with the turn signal modules or I habe to buy it separately?

@@drifter-indian1448 I think that was an option that I added when I bought them, but don't remember. You'll have to check the description, maybe contact the seller on ebay.

Could you please tell me where you run the light cable through the hands cover to the handlebars? Thank you

How have these treated you so far? I am skeptical due to the price and the no warranty.
